Wjen I look st this green plant I am remainded of what the future holds in her hand for us. THIS plant will grwn and bloom. I just I will grew out of ths pain. I will have control over my leg again. I will walk without pain again. Today I am thankful for the awesome crew at the River Hospital in Alex Bay. They go above and beyond for me. As an example how good they are...you ring the bell...they are in your room within 20 seconds asking how the cant help.One of the nurses knows I cant drink and eat at the same time. So she goes out of her way every morning when she comes in and brings me coffee long before breakfast. Just so I can have a hot cup of Joe. They do so many little things to make my hospital stay amazing, I just need to shout out. Life of a knee replacement. The first two day I wanted to jump out of the window because of pain. The nex two days we learned how much of the narcotics I needed.Yesyerday and today we ate slowly lowering the pain meds. Yes it hurts. I am stronger then this. I learned one thing, be greatful when your knee works!! So far I have no strenghts, my knee seems to have his/her own adgenda. Body, brain and knee do not communicate. + Firbomyalgia makes this worse. Positive side!!!! Got my exercises done, walked the hall twice, iced the leg frequently, im sitting next to the river with a cup of coffee and enjoying natures beauty. I am blessed. With lots of help of other I can say I got this!!
