Gin screeched quietly when he heard the bell shatter, feeling like his own body was about to do the same. Scared, he slowly poked his head out from under his counter and had a small peek of Dirk before descending back with a frightened moan.

So there was someone else in the flower shop. An eyebrow raised at the curiously cowering supposed owner who had risen from beneath the counter.

Dirk turned to make sure his potentially frightening Ursaring hadn’t followed him in only to find Heidi, his Flabebe, poking at the remaining chimes, causing a couple more to fall and shatter much to her delight.

"Ugh. I hope those weren’t important." The flabebe only giggled. Dirk sighed to himself and felt a couple pairs of eyes digging into the back of his head. "Nice flowers by the way, Mr. … no, Miss… ?"

Well that wasn’t the best of greetings. In an awkward silence, he turned and attempted to locate a broom of sorts only to step on a small flowering put with a crunch.

"We need to talk."

With a mighty heave, Dirk throws down his crate, crosses his arms, stands tall, and stares Laurence’s single eye down. “Problem, officer?”

Laurence, with a stern expression, hands a medium-sized box over to the giant man. 

"I want you to deliver this to Ms. Gracidea Beaumont as soon as possible. She’s in the sick bay, Hospital Room #302. I’ll pay the necessary amount of credits to you." 

He gives him a hard stare almost to the point of determination.

Dirk slowly uncrossed his arms as he held the officer’s gaze.

This was different. Rather than the usual hot aired sass Dirk has come to expect from Laurence, the lanky fellow actually had a look of determination and resolve in his eye; arceus forbid, like a real cop.

Exhaling long and hard, he reached into his back pocket, pulled out and began filling out a billing slip. After all, who was he to turn down a general deliveries request? It was his job.

He clapped a hand on Laurence’s shoulder, sticking the billing slip on, then held out his own hands to accept the package.

"You must be busy, officer. No breaks off your rounds to pay a hospital visit?"

This is a stick-up. Hand over all the Dirks you have and no one will get hurt. But seriously I wanna steal Dirk. I'll keep him warm and safe and tied up all to myself like all the other OC's that I want to steal. That way I can be sure nothing bad happens to them O_Q

Flowers were one of the things that gave Dirk some sense of peace, as strange as it was (or so he thought others would think.) He felt the aches ease up a bit as he kept his eyes trained on a budding violet gladiolus, staring intently as though it would blossom if he stared long enough.

That is, until the slight but deliberate movement within the store caught his eye. He did a double take. A plant... no, a pokemon? Whichever it was, it seemed to be beckoning him. Figuring there would be enough time before returning en route, he entered. The door swung open with a creak and the sound of small bells as Dirk made his way in, accidentally bumping his head onto the hanging bell chimes causing one to fall and shatter.

"Uhn. Sorry." It appeared that he made his apology to the Leafeon by the front counter since the shop was devoid of any other human. "...are you the owner?"
