Judging by the emails and messages we get, we realise that many of our fans and artists are still learning about blockchain music and the Audiocoin. So we thought we'd give you a little update to help understand your Audiocoins, what you can do with them, and specifically how to create an account at an exchange, and move coins there. Remember, the more you engage and interact with your coins, the more in value they will grow! 

Audiocoin was developed in 2013, specifically for the music industry and to help bands and musicians. It is real, has a purpose and can be traded at exchanges such as https://www.txbit.io/ 

All new sign ups to the Aurovine site will receive 250adc a week after joining.Audiocoins can be used to stream tracks and purchase/download music.Audiocoins can be earned by sharing tracks into social media channels.

 Both the artist and fan gets rewarded with 5adc from every share.Both artists and fans can see how many Audiocoins they have in their Aurovine wallets by going to their profile. We also recommend Aurovine customers creating an account at an exchange such as https://www.txbit.io/. It is very easy to set up an account and once done, you can send Audiocoins from an Aurovine wallet to a txbit account.REMEMBER : You cannot do a straight forward financial transaction of spending $ or £ on buying Audiocoins.

 Only a select few crypto currencies, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum currently allow this. If you want to buy Audiocoins using a Master or Visa card, then you have to buy some of the bigger currency first and then use that currency to buy Audiocoins. Audiocoins and the blockchain are decentralised. They are not owned by traditional banks and large corporations. Blockchain transactions are more secure and transparent than traditional banking systems and regulations.

How to transfer Audiocoins to txbit. Once you've created an account at txbit, select “wallets'' from the txbit menu, search for Audiocoins, click “deposit”, then “generate address”. You will be given a code ( wallet address). This code simply needs to be copied and pasted into your Aurovine wallet

From this month, Aurovine will be offering NFTs as part of our blockchain music service. We have been monitoring NFTs for quite some time now and we feel the time is right to offer the service to our customers.As part of an artist`s business strategy, NFTs can become an essential entity, but NFTs are only of real value if as an artist, you have the quality of music, products and a large enough following to create that demand for your merchandise.

 Even though it is early days in the NFT marketplace, we encourage you to consider creating NFTs, but as products that sit alongside your current music catalogue.We recommend creating NFTs built around exclusive artwork, unreleased songs, exclusive teasers for new tracks and so forth.View your NFTs as exclusive digital merchandise that can build revenue alongside your music releases.Despite all the hype in the press, 

NFTs are still very niche and only the big stars from the world of music and art are making millions of dollars from these products.As an artist the same rules apply today, that applied fifty years ago. Be a great musician, master your instrument, learn your craft, write the best songs you can, promote yourself, rehearse and play the best gigs you can. Without these fundamentals, NFTs mean nothing.

Southbank Crows started life in a Deptford studio, on a cold rainy winters night, friends and musicians simply getting together to jam and chill out. That get together quickly turned into something a lot more serious, in the form of a musical outfit that delivers some of the finest rock, pop and Americana inspired music this side of the Atlantic.

The band will indeed remind you of household names such as Gaslight Anthem, Stereophonics and Lower Than Atlantis, but the Southbank Crows sound is always underpinned by their own originality and soul.The band’s debut album “Paradise Park” is now available on Aurovine to download or stream and features ten superbly crafted and produced modern pop/rock tracks.

 We like it so much that the boys will become a featured artist for September and look out for the review of the album and interview with the guys later in the month..

Audio Jane is an atmospheric rock band from Hartford, Connecticut. They recently released their second full length album "Letters" which was included in the Hartford Courant's top 20 albums by Connecticut artists in 2018. The band received rave reviews for it's 2016 EP "A Full Bird's Wing", with the Huffington Post affirming "Audio Jane is just damn good". The follow up, 2017's "Naive" was similarly well received and won CTNow's 2018 Best of Hartford Reader's Poll for Best Connecticut Album of the Year. They were also featured on NPR's "Where We Live".

This is a beautifully put together album and one you can just lose yourself in. On a rainy grey day like today, just curl up on your sofa, pour yourself a drink and press play. Can't wait to see what they come out with next.

Ingrid Löw was born in Mexico and since childhood was a self-taught musician. At 16, Ingrid was studying guitar in Germany. 4 years later she returned to Mexico to dedicate herself to music. She worked as a showgirl and later scored series, films, audiobooks and cultural capsules. With her guitar, a looper and her voice Ingrid has sung at various private and massive events in CDMX.

She has a smooth voice that reminds me a little of Lou Rhodes (Lamb)Our favorite track from her album is the title track Moonlight, it has a cool dreamy Trip Hop feel to it. Treat your ears this weekend and give it a listen.

Aurovine Presents Line up

So lets meet another band playing at Aurovine Presents on Jan 26th.....

Superfecta

How does one describe Superfecta, How about a riff obsessed bass player who loves to lay down a bone crunching groove. A snarling, athletic powerhouse of a vocalist that moves seamlessly between rock, grunge and metal. A Chieftain tank of a drummer that can pummel you with a barrage of cannon fire yet can shuffle like an alley cat. A guitarist obsessed with hooks,melody and classic licks, plus the odd blistering solo for good taste. That`ll do for starters. Of course the band will remind you of their peers and heroes Soundgarden, Clutch, Tool, The Cult, Incubus, Pearl Jam, Kyuss, Foo Fighters, Alice in Chains, Pistols, Motorhead, Sabbath, their influence is there, but it's not rammed in your face.

Superfecta returned in April 2017 with their new track Mannequin. The band now features Roberto Negrini (vocals), Danun Todd ( guitars), Joe Head ( bass) and Matthew Vella on drums. In March 2018, the band released their second single and video “The Abyss”, along with supporting track,”Nothing Remains”, both receiving great reviews. The single “The Abyss” carried on where Mannequin left off. Big hooks, huge riffs, melodic, modern, bold and thought provoking, a song that explores a man`s relationship with life, death, love, remorse, forgiveness and the question of what else is out there for us!

Late August 2018, Superfecta released Disconnect. Nine relentless tracks of heart pounding hard rock, grunge and metal, an album that explores the modern world that we live in and it`s obsession and entrenched fascination with technology, social media and personal perception. Disconnect is not a concept album but it is certainly a piece of work with a strong theme that will hopefully make the listener question what's going on around them. The album received a swathe of great reviews from the rock press, fans, and a strong presence on many rock radio stations worldwide has helped the band grow from strength to strength.

During 2019 Superfecta have toured the UK, Austria and Germany and were recently toured Russia as the headline band. Superfecta visited ten cities, played to packed venues and headlined the Red Stage at Dobrofest Music Festival. Into January 2020 and Superfecta are back in the studio rehearsing and recording new material for release in the Spring through to autumn. Instead of diving headlong into a new album, the band is releasing three to four singles with supporting videos which will push up their profile even further in 2020. The band will embark on a small tour late April and carry on with gigging and promotional duties throughout the remainder of the year.
