I need sane people to like. stop. y'all need to stop taking terms like delusions and intrusive thoughts & using them wrong AND saying shit that is going to make people with actual intrusive thoughts extremely distressed & misled. stop it!!!!!!

anyways your intrusive thoughts mean nothing about you physically or spiritually. they are just thoughts. if you have intrusive thoughts / delusions / hallucinations / etc. & interested in spirituality I would highly recommend finding other people who have & recognize those conditions & have ways of engaging with spirituality that do not encourage you to see everything as a Sign or Message. you can be neurodivergent/mentally ill/mad and spiritual but you absolutely cannot trust sane people to be fucking normal about it

Autistic burnout vs autistic regression

Autistic burnout has been described as a phenomenon that happens when you get burnt out. Leading to loss of skills, exhaustion, and extreme fatigue. But what’s it called when you aren’t burnt out. When you do lose skills but aren’t fatigued and didn’t mask that causes burnout?

It is often debated on if autism regression can happen in adults and teens. I would like to remind people that autism regression isn’t researched a lot, so forget about teens and adults.

Autism regression in teens and adults, also referred to as late regression, is referred to as the phenomenon that causes sudden decline in social, developmental, and language without any underlying cause.

Difference between the two? Burnout is caused by burnout. And does get better with accommodations, self care, and time. Regression isn’t really known to have a cause, and can only be fixed with professional help and time.

I know many of my friends who have gone through regression, yes, burnout and regression do have similar symptoms, however are very different. Stop saying regression isn’t real.

Happy disability pride month to everyone who feels like they shouldn’t be in public. To the people who get stared at, the people who startle others, the people who get treated like a monster or some sort of freak. The people whose disabilities are big and loud and obvious. The people who feel like they are an inconvenience, that they take up too much space, that their existence is too much or something to be censored, the people who feel like they have to warn others and the people who avoid others altogether. You’re not alone. You’re not too much. You are normal and you are loveable. You do not traumatize people or ruin their day. You deserve to exist just as you are.

I, a hearing person who likes subtitles just as a preference, shouldn't have to read a subtitle that's obvious nonsense, go back a couple seconds, and listen again in order to figure out what's going on. An accessibility feature should not be the most half-assed part of a professionally made production. Scripted media has absolutely no excuse for not having subtitles or having subtitles that aren't perfectly verbatim. Professional captioning services should be ashamed of the shoddy work that they put out. Captions should be treated as a part of the production, just like filming, editing, audio balancing, etc - and anything that releases with missing or bad captions should be seen as unfinished

made fun of by mom and lady at school met mom n talked to her when momma wait pick me up school, she told momma about my lanyard "toys around [redacted pronouns] neck"

the lanyard had: loop Earplugs, a knock-off-brand tangle, a pea popper, a mini pop it gifted by my friend, a Trans bead roller made and gifted by same friend/pos

now want want another lanyard, but when move out, preferably sunflower lanyard. But am TERRIFIED bring sensory aids [besides ANC headphones and Loops]/stim/tic at school because of this interaction, also scared stim/tic at home too

🍔- do you have sensory problems with food? what food do you like to eat?

Yes lot. Have limit food ( compare to family ) able eat ( sometimes able go outside that which yay! ). Lunch is PB&J , cheese stick , and matchstick carrots. Breakfast usual yogurt and berries and protein shake. Weekend breakfast waffles! Also like hot dogs , Totino's pizza , lunchmeat ham sandwich , and simple pasta with tomato sauce. Have 1 specific salad that like lot ( is have balsamic vinaigrette and shredded mozzarella cheese ). Really really like lamb curry from specific restaurant.
