being disabled is so hard. im glad more people are talking about the dingier, grosser parts of being disabled, but i think this needs to be talked about more.

people with adhd and autism (not all of them, but some of them) struggle with regularly brushing their teeth. i say this because i struggle with it. i have to contuously set reminders that only work sometimes. i havent brushed my teeth in probably a week now. the back of my teeth have a film on them.

i cant get out and get regular exercise because everything ends up hurting. this is part of the reason that im overweight. i have a heart condition and a sensitivity to heat. i get overwhelmed and have to call it quits because its just that bad.

another reason is because i have trouble finding foods that i can stomach. i despise meat and cooked veggies. i gave so many issues with textures that i can hardly get the nutrients i need. i fall back on unhealthy foods that dont provide the protein i need.

i cant take showers regularly because it also hurts. its overwhelming, its loud, the warer can hurt my skin. it hurts to raise my arms above my head. i put off taking a shower.

it can get overwhelming, frankly. i want to raise awareness. i dont want this to be frowned upon but people like me need help without judgement.
