Been driving the new #Jaguar #XF today. If you're not paying for fuel (which I wasn't) then it's hard to not fall for this growly pointy Supercharged "S" model. 380bhp makes the ZF box work for a living, and it thrives under pressure. It has quite a lively central pivot point which makes for a rear that will happily break traction in dynamic mode (with a suggestion of it at speed all the time) and a fallible front end making you drive to the cars characteristics. Its engaging for what is ostensibly such a loafer of an executive car. Exactly the @jaguaruk prerogative. And would you just look at it... Adore this thing. Underated oldschool brute. 7.3 litres. 700+ horsepower #V12 #AstonMartin #One77. Single clutch. Visible damping and springs through the back window + massive diffuser + active aero are delicious homages to it's motorsport lineage without sacrificing its tireless elegance. What a day it was a couple of weeks back at #Brandshatch with #Denso for the introduction of their new #IridiumTT spark plug. Had a good hoon round the circuit in this track only #supercharged #Lotus #2eleven. 250bhp. 600 kilogrammes. Nearly 500bhp per ton. For reference, a #Bugatti #Veyron has 525bhp per ton. This thing properly moves. And there's a road version that's a matter of kilos heavier. Gulp. Gorgeous tactile malleable steering and progressive damping made it no where near the intimidating beast you might assume per its appearance. A pleasure to be reacquainted with this iconic circuit and in such a capable little motorcar. Article and maybe some footage to follow. Owning a Clio is like having one of those mates that's the banter fall guy. They're massive liabilities but you love having them around 😂. Looking forward to testing our adjustments.

I do not think the #Ferrari #LaFerrari is pretty in the strictest sense that say an F50 or a 330GT is (IMO), but its certainly photogenic.
