A Visit to Town
blue-feathered-dragon:
-Fiora would watch Lasair as he gently moved her behind him in a protective manner, his wings spreading and feathers ruffling in front of her in anger.-
Lasair you don’t have to-
-She reached out to him as she tried to object to the red dragon standing up to the ruffians but it was too late. As the heat began to rise Fiora would take a few steps back in shock. -
-Next thing the dragoness knew a hand was placed on the leader’s shoulder, an expression of distress and pain crossing his face. Fiora’s eyes would widen and her breathing become a bit heavier. This felt too familiar, and she didn’t like it. She would back up a bit more as tears would begin to stream down her cheeks once she saw the second degree burn on the man’s shoulder. Lasair shoving the man to the ground would cause her to wince and the coldness in his voice would make the draconian bird tremble slightly in fear.-
-As the other started to turn around she did her best to quickly calm down, wiping her tears away and flashing a smile to the taller dragon-
I’m kinda hungry. Shall we go get something to eat?
-Despite her best efforts she was still trembling slightly as she spoke. She prayed to the goddesses in her head that he wouldn’t notice-
As observant as the fire dragon was by default, Lasair pretty much immediately could sense her fear. From the trembling, to the obvious efforts to hide the terror within her practically locked up body.
He couldn’t help but feel his chest seize up.
He’d been trying to defend her, but the Lord of Autumn had only terrified her in the process.
“...A-are ye sure ye’d want tae do that...?”
He subconciously hugged himself, feathers bristling. Lasair found himself unable to meet her gaze, after witnessing fear that he’d caused within them. The tightness in his chest would only worsen, jaw tightening as he attempted to retain what little composure he had left.
