The beauty of this shot

It’s probably been mentioned before but it’s lovely (and probably foreshadowing) that Marinette is between Adrien and Luka. Like, this is where her heart is. Torn between these two guys.

Adrien and Luka are both wearing the Ladybug mask, meaning that they’re both pining after the same girl even if they’re looking at the different sides of her.

On the other hand, Marinette is wearing the Cat Noir mask and I don’t think it’s just to balance the scene, I think it’s because ultimately, her heart lies with him. Or moreso with Adrien but if she was wearing a giant Adrien mask, that would make it too obvious.

“You’re the girl of my dreams” and “I’m glad to have you as one of my fans” have the same intonation, tone, voice… it makes me believe he means to say the same thing with both these comments. Atm I personally think that he knows everything; I mean I can’t imagine Adrien flirting with both Ladybug and Marinette so earnestly thinking they were two different girls! Gahhh these two make my heart fly <3

Just a Friend…

So whenever I hear Adrien say:

or some other variation of Just a Friend, I think of this:

The Words Hold a Deeper meaning. As the grandfather said “When he says As You Wish, he’s really saying I Love You!”

I feel like Adrien “Just a Friend” Sunshine Agreste is doing something similar here. After all when I make friends this isn’t my first reaction (even with my first friend):

He clearly likes her but he’s hiding his feelings for a number of reasons. The Main is his crush on Ladybug, and others include him not wanting to risk their friendship if she doesn’t feel the same. After all, “your friendship means everything to me”. Of course these words are told to Ladybug (as Chat Noir) but these words hold the same feeling to Marinette as well.

Friendship to him is much deeper then how we view it, mainly due to his mostly solitude life where his only friend was Chloe. Best Boy Nino of course helps him there by becoming his first male friend (hope we see Nino soon), but it was Marinettes Friendship that holds a deeper bond with him. Like when he’s with Ladybug, he always feels happy when he’s with her. Hell even his greeting changes when it’s Marinette.

In the end, whether it’s Season 2 Finale (likely due to all the hint in Season 2) or in Season 3 I’m sure we will get that reveal and something tells me Adrien will be more than pleased with the results. Until then, I can’t wait to see more and can’t wait for this below to be real.
