Baby’s first merch design job! I am so honored to have been able to work with the amazing people at Dreamworld Girl Magazine to bring their ideas for Issue 4 to life as totes, sticker sheets and pins! I had SO much fun working with their ocs and making girly designs, I can’t wait to see all the crafty zine girls wear my stuff!
L would never come out
hi blog! I am so tired.. Currently writing this post while procrastinating a sticker sheet I need to finish this week, but gosh I am just deflated. Maybe I'm burnt out, or maybe I'm just sad. Who knows. Too many deadlines to think about it! For my new year's manifestation board, I'm going to put about 40% less pictures of work and money on there. Manifested TOO close to the sun, and now I'm riding my tricycle into a wall. Even my ava-isms don't make as much sense. Next semester, I'm going to take it much easier. I'm going to close comms and just work on school! Nothing else! No professional work no nothing! I have the whole summer to intern all over the place. Relax bitch!
Has anyone watched the Winx reboot yet? I got on it a little late, which is heresy as someone who almost stick and poked the logo on their knee a year ago, but I'm glad I waited. By some miracle, I got sick a week after release and got to binge the whole thing guilt free! I have mixed feelings, but I think the girlies who say its lost the sparkle aren't giving it enough of a chance. I hate the art style and animation, I hate some of the voice acting, the songs are atrocious, but I honestly don't think the original had spot on animation or music half the time either. Nostalgia is its own rose colored glasses. Then again, in the year of our lord, Ignio Straffi could've put a lot more love and effort into it yk? Regardless, we were blessed with the camping episode, Techna knowing about AO3, and Brandon ripping his pants so I liked it anyways. I hope they do better in the next season, but my expectations are in hell. Maybe if this does well in Italy, they'll do a WITCH reboot? I can only hope </3
Rn I'm watching Angel Friends for the first time and god I missed this brand of campy, poorly translated, Italian ridiculousness. Wym the ladybug is named Cox? Or that the character Dulce, an Italian name, is renamed Sweet in the dub. Now, there was no need to American-ify the name to begin with, Dulce is a fire name, but at LEAST change it to Candy or a name with a meaning similar to Sweet like Pam or Danah. Sweet is just so jarring I can't. I missed this stupidity, watching too much Yellow Jackets. It's giving Usagi to Serena/Aisha to Layla. But here's the kicker, I think it may have been dubbed IN ITALY. I can't find any information on purchasing rights to the dub, so no 4kids here, but that means the Italian producers went yep! That's the one! And that KILLS ME. Sorry for the long rant, I love my Italian cartoons and how ridiculous they are.
But yeah! That's everything I think. I haven't been up to much besides work, work, more work, and in my free time, working. I can't wait for Christmas break. Back to my sticker sheets. Keep an eye on DWG!

wooah I haven't made a text post in a while. hi blog! I missed you! I've been working really hard at school and work so I've been super busy. On a good note: surprise! I'm opening a shop for my prints and stickers! I've been getting requests for prints for a while and figured I'd finally just do it! Currently in the process of designing some stickers, and might end up doing some tabling in nyc soon! Will keep yall posted for sure! Right now I'm bed rotting after a long day of museum trips and photoshopping, but please if anyone out there has any advice on boothing/stickers/prints/all of it I would love to hear. I'm working on a lot of really cool pieces simultaneously right now but I can't say anything about any of them yet! spoiluhs. I will say though I'm making a book dummy, or basically like a book of wips for a graphic novel. I'll post those as they come! The rest I can say you'll likely be seeing within the next month or so. Btw even if I am as exhausted at Fluttershy in this photo I'm totally a Twilight/Sunset.. let's make that so clear
