hello! i’d like to start off this post by saying it was totally inspired by another post for a really yummy strawberry jam, everyone should go check it out!
so, i somehow managed to pull off another tea recipe that tastes good both iced and hot, which if you’ve been here for a while you know that i! do not! take that claim lightly! as i find it’s usually a complete and total sham!!!! but i digress, this summer tea is amazing to enjoy out in the beautiful sunshine this summer and i especially recommend it on one of those days where the sky is extra baby blue and there’s not a single cloud in sight ✨

mash up your strawberries and honey together into a jammy paste while you get some water boiling, go ahead and throw in your cinnamon stick(s) at this point
once your water is aggressively boiling, bring it to med-low heat and sprinkle in your thyme while still at a high boil, let it bubble down then bring your heat all the way down to a gentle simmer and add in your jammy mixture, let it brew like this for maybe 3-5 minutes and enjoy hot or refrigerate and serve over ice!
