A few days ago I had a dream where I was playing this strange Pokemon visual novel type game where I play as a girl named Driff, who just inherited a large country house (looked more like a classic barn with a hole at the top) from who I assume was either one of her parents or another family member.
(No conformation though, I mean it was a dream.)
The gameplay was, like I said before, one of those visual novel-like games similar to Berrywitched! or Slay the princess but unlike those games: it had a sort of dungeon crawling element to it, as in certain areas were explorable like your house and outside and it scrolled from picture to picture and, at some points, made you choose which direction to go (think of those old dungeon computer games from the 90s.), it even had multiple endings.
Now for the dream, and please note my exclamation it isn't 100% accurate to what I saw as I filled in some blanks taking into account how dream me felt/said about it and what I assume happened based on that. keep that in mind, and also WARNING: It gets a little dark at the end so you have been warned.
I remember some of the plot and (semi-vaguely) the endings I got from it. Essentially, I believe that it revolved around 5 days, because each "day/night cycle" she would change clothes and oddly enough, it looked like her eyes got more and more colorless throughout each day as well.
The house itself looked really nice on the inside which makes me believe that it wasn't a barn, as for inhabitants: it was all ghost pokemon (mainly Drifbloons/Drifblims though), and I specifically remember that there was one shiny Drifblim that Driff really liked (I believed it was cute at the time),
and at the day/night cycles I mentioned earlier: a cutscene played with everyone curled up together in (what I assume is) the room where the big hole is and you would just watch them close their eyes each night (despite it always being pretty dark.)
Now for the endings which honestly is the part that I know/remember the least about and unfortunately I can't replay my dreams so I will just say all that I do remember so bare with me.
The one I mainly remember "first" ending I got. And it seemed like a bad one since she lost all of her memories and turned into a Driftblim as the scene slowly fades out to a final look with Driff and the others sleeping peacefully, but the craziest part was not only were the endings I did see worse but dream me even was thinking "somehow this is the best ending out of all of them", so that implied that not only there were other endings I didn't see, but they were all bad ones.
As for the other two endings I saw: (I forgot what order they were in)
One ending had her looking down at something with her face appearing more darkened like she was in a comic book panel and her expression of that of someone who lost all faith in humanity and became "evil". I didn't see what she was looking at but it was implied to be either a body or the house itself burning, neither of which had any good implications with it.
As for the other ending, well… I don't exactly want to describe it. (But if you remember the cake ending in Berrywitched!, if you know, you know.)
That's about it for what happened in the dream but honestly looking back at it now, I sorta have a theory that Driff was already dying/dead(?) and the other endings (besides the first) was a metaphor for her either becoming an evil spirit, or becoming depressed about learning the truth, but… that's just my interpretation and can't be proven true or false.
And that's all I have to say about my dream sorry if it read like an old, edgy creepypasta but this is my first time posting about my dreams, I just wanted it to be as detailed as I remember it.
