I guess you could say I’m torn between wanting to die and sucking dick until I can no longer function. Then again, you look more miserable than I do. High five?”
“And by sucking dick, are we leaning towards the route of prostitution as opposed to a conventional, boring career that requires a degree? Because, y’know, prostitution can be fun and there’s a lot of good money in it. No one can hate sucking a stranger’s peen if it means getting a couple hundred bucks or more. I hope this is what you were talking about...or this is awk.”

“Oh, Jesus. I feel like this tumble of mine is going to earn me some sort of following. And not the kind I want like Instagram or something. Did you happen to notice if I made any whale noises on the way down? That wouldn’t have been surprising either way.”

“I told you those heels are way too fucking high. It’s unnatural, you’re on stilts sometimes. I mean, what I’m trying to get at is, well, you could do birthday parties. Seriously though, let me teach you the tuck and roll. Never know, it might save your ankle someday. Then I’m also one step closer to getting you on a skateboard.”
“I don’t wanna hear it. You’re salty because when you want to dress in drag, you can’t work the heels the way they should be worked...the way I work ‘em. Take your green-with-jealous-rage elsewhere. You know the only thing I like about skateboards is when there’s a video on Youtube of a fat lil Bulldog riding one. My interest ends there, okay.”

I like the way your mind works, and you make a good point. That’s usually when I have my first drink, too— actually, that’s a lie, sometimes I drink when I first wake up but whatever. “Trust me, I’ve gone through all of my options to try and fix this clusterfuck but it was a hot mess. I just have to order a new pair and cry about it because I don’t have money to dish out right now...but I need my good heels. I’m sure you feel me on this. HA. I love the way you think! “ i haven’t quite decided whether i want to know who left it under my door, if i’m being entirely honest. i’ll just give them weird looks whenever they’re in my class, with my luck, and that hardly seems conducive to a positive learning environment. if they come clean about it, i think i’d be more comfortable with that but i don’t want to pry if they’re embarrassed that they did it. or, if it was a joke. ” he shrugged, “ you’re not supposed to date students when they’re taking classes with you, but if they’re of age some people don’t mind as much. for me, there’s just a power dynamic in place that screws with any consent they could give me. hence, avoiding it. ”
“Oh, come on. I know that if it were me, I’d be very curious. I’d snoop around for hours trying to uncover this stuff. But girls like me are pros at this too. I mean, just say the word and we can find this mystery artist in under an hour, I guarantee it. But until then, the offer will sit. Eh, I can see that. Those lines begin to blur and there’s gotta be a thought that crosses your mind of ‘is this person really into me? Or are they here because they think it’ll get them a good grade?’ You know? Personally, I’d never go for a professor or an authoritative figure of any kind. But anyway. Hi, I’m Ava. And if I ever have any questions regarding art history, you’ll be the first person I hit up!”

“Well, I mean, just one so far but we don’t have to talk about that right now! What’s your name?”

“Well you would be crazy not to accept free alcohol.. I know I would always accept it” He mentioned to her. “Good. I hate buzzkills.”
“Yeah. Tell me about it.”

his eyes widened at the notion that anyone could be unaware of what the statue of david looked like, “ it’s definitely not an old fat man, no. it’s… some people consider it the most attractive rendition of the male form, it’s a marble statue. ” he shook his head in amusement, “ you look like you’re barely twenty-one, if i’m being perfectly honest. the idea of you as anything but a spring chicken is a bit difficult to grasp. ”
“Huh. I better look into this then, shouldn’t I? I fall into a different sort of art field - makeup. So, that’ll explain my lack of knowledge in that department. Nonetheless, I gotta check that out. And I was totally kidding about the spring chicken thing! I might huff and puff after I walk a small flight of steps but I’ve done a great job at avoiding grays. But back to the topic at hand, are you going to investigate this Photoshop mystery? Also, what are the standards when it comes to dating a student? Strictly curious.”

“I’m a model, not like an instagram model, but an actual model. I’ve got tons of promotional shoes if you’d like to check them out. I don’t typically wear heels on an average day, so they just sit.”
“Wait, no way! Get out. I’m actually a makeup artist myself. I mostly work shows and editorial shoots. That’s so crazy! How long have you been in the area? I’d love to see some of your work. As for the shoes, I’m all about this and I would be forever grateful. My name is Ava, by the way. I’m sure at some point we would’ve crossed paths but here we are!”

“Yes, yes! I’m sure I’ll be alright but not my poor heels. It’s a tragic day. I’m a size eight. Can you really help me out?! What do you do? I’m putting my faith in you now.”

“I trip all the time. I think it’s because my feet aren’t big enough for how tall I am, like I should be a size or two bigger for balance purposes. It’s always so embarrassing though.”
“Me too. I mean, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with my feet...I’m just clumsy, you know. Maybe you should get some bigger shoes and just add inserts. That might help. But if you’re just clumsy like me, you’re doomed, pal.”

“Me. Freakin’. Too. Food is on my mind all day, every day. I saw a meme on Facebook earlier that was like ‘if someone says we’ll get something to eat tomorrow, it’s all I’ll think about for the next twenty-four hours’ and I have never resonated with something so much in my life. Thank you! You are the cutest thing ever. I’m going to put you in the pocket. But of course I’ll show you! Anything for a fellow foodie.”
