so I might have conjured up a shifting method and wanted to share it!
First picture yourself in the void state. Focus on the blackness behind your eyelids, imagine that expanding until it surrounds you. feel yourself floating, etc. affirm if you like. Whatever the void state feels like for you.
Then imagine dozens of wires attached to you, projecting outward like theyâre tethered to something. Each wire represents a reality. All of them are neat and in place except for one thatâs tangled around you, restricting you. Let that represent the reality youâre shifting FROM (your cr).
Then you notice a wire thatâs disconnected on your end and drifting toward you. This wire is your dr. You reach for it, noticing its strong energetic pull. Once youâre reconnected with the Dr wire, suddenly the cr wire falls away. Immediately unraveling and releasing you.
Linger in feeling of freedom. Now focus on the Dr wire. Feel its energy and strength. The connection of this reality that you are choosing. Picture it glowing as confirmation. This wire is the connection between you and your Dr. feel the security, the safety of this direct line to the reality that you now inhabit.
Hope someone is successful with this and lmk in the comments !!
donât try something as a result of something else ânot working.â you made that assumption up. you can easily say something still worked even if it didnât provide the shift (yet). but itâs the assumption that it didnât and THEN trying to find a âsolutionâ (to a problem you made up in your head) that keeps you in the loop.
this is a very sneaky way that your old assumptions stay the course. but hopefully i explained it succinctly enough and you can realize you donât need to change anything about what youâre doing. itâs enough.
I'm letting out my frustrations out, not anonymously. Announcement: your dearly sweet host is gonna crash tf out.
EVERYONE STFU!!! I know shiftblr hell even shifttok is not a "calm and peaceful" community but dear gosh, you people are fucking irritating. "You can vent out your frustrations or some bullshit" but not everything needs to be out for the public and useless hate, negative energy around this community. Like everyone has different morals/ethics and most of everyone is selfish (even me) like race changing, age changing, same s/o's WHO FUCKING CARES, I know most of you do but keep it private sometimes. People and their tea accounts aren't actually calm like tea, it may be slang but it's just hot coffee that it boils. I am speaking in metaphors so at least, people understand what I am getting at it.... YOU PEOPLE NEED TO STFU. Targeting random shiftblr accounts for what? (you, @withluvvenus, @noahblr, @laylasverse are loved. That I'm brave enough to tag them <33333) comparing them to right-winged men, isn't right enough also there is some underlying racism and sexism right here for the clear elephant in the room. So... (i'm sighing in exhaustion) please. kindly. just. SHUT. THE. FUCK. UP.
let me say it out loud: @shiftblrteas is one of the most harmful blogs out here on shiftblr. while majority of users are out there to seek advice, seek motivation and simply have fun, that account brings the division in the community and unnecessary dramas, giving space for harmful, wrong opinions.
the thing that screams to me when i look at the new blog, as well as it did on the previous one, is jelousy towards more popular blogs out there. i'm not a cunt and won't hide behind anon, also i don't have a problem with writing this on my main and maybe suffer consequences.
it screams bitterness for not achieving anything positive on your account. also, is seeking popularity on shiftblr something wrong? NO. i don't see y'all hating on people with influencer realities, so what's your problem when some of us live that life in this one? i'm not calling anyone, especially myself, an influencer, but you get the idea: some of blogs have more followers and engagement than others and it's okay! and guess what? it's simply nice and enjoyable when people like interact positively with you, but what would you know about that...
and the moodboard part? are you fucking serious? you're not superior over people because you don't post reality content. you're not some kind of lawmaker, saying what we can't and cannot post. making moodboards ISN'T treating shifting as fandom. it's simply having fun and sharing your experiences in other realities. some people use this as a scripting method, some just want to have this type of content. like, what's wrong with that? shiftblr isn't lacking advice, we already have most of the information we need there. simultaneously, i'm not saying that posting advice/information is stupid, i do this myself and i would be very hypocritical if i suddenly started condemning it, but guess what? everyone can post whatever they want and it doesn't make them fake shifters!!!!
don't get me started on the superiority part... JUST. BECAUSE. WE. WANT. TO. SHARE. OUR. EXPERCENCE. OR. OBSERVATION. DOESN'T. MEAN. WE. CONSIDER. OURSELVES. SUPERIOR. it's others that see bigger blogs that way. first you shit talk about people not posting shifting stuff and when people do, you hate them for it? you bully them because of that? it's fucking insane and your actions on that account are pathetic. you shouldn't even consider giving that kind of people platform.

Jean Pierre Polnareff who is all bark, some bite. He has no problem telling you every position he wants you in, all the fantasies he wishes to live out, but gets quite nervous when you hold him to it. He turns into a blushing, shaking, overwhelmed mess, and is cumming before you can get through half of his desires.
Jean Pierre Polnareff who loves speaking French during sex, especially during dirty talk. He doesn't care that you can't understand it all, but when you finally know what he's saying in bed after a few lessons? It turns him on bad.
Jean Pierre Polnareff who adores seeing you on top of him, cock buried to the hilt inside of you. This way, he gets to watch your full tits bounce and your hips rock against his own. He'll guide your waist with his hands, struggling to keep his eyes open after just a few minutes even though he wants nothing more than to watch you ride his cock.
Jean Pierre Polnareff who is always down for some shower sex. Imagine coming home sweating after a hot day and going to take a cold shower to cool off, inviting him to join you. Within minutes his hands are on your tits, kneading the flesh from behind, his chest pressed to your back. Next thing you know, you're trying to stay upright as he fucks you senseless under the stream of water, making you sweat even in the cold.
Jean Pierre Polnareff who gets turned on like crazy from the idea of being caught. A quickie in the bathroom while other are outside in the living room. Jean Pierre Polnareff who gets bratty during sex at times just so you'll slap him and put him in his place. He likes it more than he would care to admit, and you shutting up his whines causes him to get even harder.
Jean Pierre Polnareff who has decent stamina. He gets tired easily, sure, but if you want to keep going, he'll snap right back into shape and will go as many rounds as he could possibly do.
Jean Pierre Polnareff who loves to cum inside you. He isn't too fond of the idea of a child, so he always makes sure precautions are taken before releasing his load into your pretty pussy. When he pulls out, he'll take a second just to watch his cum drip from your hole.
Jean Pierre Polnareff who is the king of aftercare. He'll clean you up, bring you water, and take a (normal) shower if you're up for it. After, he'll hold you in his arms until you're both asleep.
A/N: I have so many more headcannons for this man that kept coming across my mind as I wrote. I need him bad.
First off, @/calebslittlecrow explained it so much better in their post so go give it a read if you want to know what proprioception is in detail.
Explaining it briefly, proprioception is the sense that allows you to know where you are right now. If you close your eyes, you can sense where you are standing and what is around you. Its your spatial and object awareness no matter where you are.
At the time that I was using this, I didn't even have a name for it because I myself didn't know what it was. I just couldn't visualise at all because I have complete aphantasia and I have been using proprioception since childhood.
Before going to bed, I would "feel" the room and the furniture around me, kind of like checking things off a list. "My cupboard is there, my nightstand is here..." It helped me fall asleep quicker lol kind of like counting sheep.
Using it for shifting!
Its actually really simple. When you are shifting you tell yourself that you are in your DR right? You visualise and you affirm in your favor.
Instead, just close your eyes and try to pinpoint where everything is right now. Where are you standing/sitting/laying down in your DR? Whatever room/place you are shifting to, try to feel the objects that are around you in that exact time and place that you are shifting to.
If you turn to your left, what will be the first thing you see when you open your eyes? No need to recite them out loud or in your head. Just know and feel.
You don't have to actually touch anything or feel any sensations. Just know and accept.
You can practice it by first closing your eyes and establishing where everything is in your CR room. "My beds there, my TV is there, to my left is my table..." and then try turning your head towards each object with your eyes still closed. Try to feel the presence of each object without actually touching it.
Afterwards, open your eyes and see if everything was where you felt it would be.
When you're done, try the same with your DR bedroom/wherever you are shifting to. You can just practice it with no expectations and you might just end up shifting without even noticing it.
Proprioception, when used like this, makes you really immersed in your DR. You begin to actually expect that those objects are where you assume they would be if you were in your DR. You expect that when you open your eyes you'll see them there and you'll be in your DR.
Here's the trick
While using this, assume that you are already in your DR and you're just checking things off the list. Making sure everything is where you scripted it would be. That would help immerse you even more. I also suggest looking at a picture/visual of the exact place that you will be in as you shift so that it can help with placing yourself there in first person.
You can either pair it with a method or just on its own. Either way you'll probably shift.
My experience with this.
I already mentioned that I used this since I was a kid (for things unrelated to shifting) so it made more sense for me personally.
The months before I began to shift on command, I would do this exercise before going to sleep. Just checking things off a list and feeling their presence as if I was already in my dr.
It just made my DR feel that much more real and tangible, I have shifted many times with it as well. Before I even knew it, I would feel my DR around me. The bed changing, the cool air from the window, the smell of flowers, my s/o snoring in my ear.
burlesque dancer!joseph joestar didn't expect to see his two best friends (who he has been crushing for over a year) at a random night in the place he worked at à Ë. á”á”
cw: mdni, hurt/comfort, angst, vulnerability, joseph suffers a little here, suggestive, art by catneychu
Thursday nights are always boring in your apartment, Josephâs out working and none of your other friends want to go out because âitâs a weekdayâ and âthey have classes tomorrowâ. So you and Caesar usually settle down for a calm night with a movie in the background while you kiss each other for hours.Â
Youâve been keeping your little relationship (youâre not even dating, by the way, Caesar just has the most kissable lips ever and knows how to use them) a secret to Joseph because you know he would freak out and make a whole deal out of his two best friends making out every other night.Â
Like right now, Caesar has you on his lap, hands kneading your ass while you devour his mouth just how he likes it. Tongues overlapping and swirling around each other. You love running your hand through his soft golden locks, making him giggle as you do it.Â
âMm, why donât we go out for some drinks?â you mumble against his lips, breathing out.Â
âYou want to?â He kisses your lips once more before breaking contact, looking you in the eyes while you nod. âThen sure, letâs go for a drink.â
But one drink became two, then three, then you met a group of people that wanted to invite you for shots. Then youâre taking body shots of Caesarâs abs and suddenly someone suggests going to the Burlesque down the street, the only one in town. And your drunk self thought it was the best idea ever.
âNghh, do we really have to go?â Caesar slurred, grabbing you by the waist as you walked in the street. âThe only woman I wanna see naked is⊠you!â
He tries to boop your nose. âOw! Caesar, thatâs my eye!â
Heâs giggling now, pressing a long kiss to the top of your head. âSorry.â
You and Caesar stumble into the Burlesque club, the bass thumping through your bodies, Caesarâs arm is slung heavy around your waist, his breath warm against your ear as he laughs at something silly you said outside.Â
âSee? This is fun,â you tease, pulling him closer to a spot near the front. âWay better than another movie night.â
He just grins and presses a quick kiss to your temple. âOnly because youâre here, bella.â
You both find seats at a sticky table, ordering another round of drinks that you probably donât need. The crowd cheers as the next performer is announced, and the lights shift to a sultry red glow. Then he steps out.
Joseph Joestar.
Your best friend Joseph, in a tight body suit and star-shaped nipple covers that show way too much of his muscular chest heâs always bragging about. Heâs owning the stage, hips rolling, arms flexing in smooth motions that scream heâs done this a lot.Â
Your mouth drops open. Caesar freezes beside you, his hand still on your thigh.
For a second Joseph spinning and dipping like itâs nothing. But then his eyes scan the crowd and land right on you two. His face goes bright red, eyes wide in embarrassment. He misses a step, nearly trips over his own feet and the smooth dance turns into something awkward and rushed. The crowd still claps, but Joseph bolts off the stage early, muttering something under his breath as the lights follow him off.
You and Caesar just sit there, dumbfounded. The music keeps going, another dancer taking the spotlight, but neither of you can look away from the side door where Joseph disappeared.
âDid... did we imagine that?â you whisper, turning to Caesar. Your heart is hammering from the drinks and the shock.
Caesarâs mouth is still half-open, his pretty blue eyes blinking slowly. âThat was Joseph, right?â He rubs a hand over his face, trying to hide a laugh but failing. âHe looked good.â
You canât help it, you start giggling too, the alcohol making everything funnier. âYeah, he did.â
Josephâs been âworking lateâ for months and now it all makes sense. No wonder heâs been dodging questions about his job.
Before you can decide what to do, Joseph peeks back out from the side of the stage, now with a hoodie thrown over his dance clothes. He spots you and turns even redder when you make eye contact with him. He hides again.
He paces in the backstage, going a bit insane not only because of the embarrassment (gosh, he doesnât even want to think about the jokes) but because it was you and Caesar of all people. You and Caesar. For you two, you are best friends. For him, you are the people he dreams about, kissing and giggling together. But now that you saw him like that? Thereâs no way youâre gonna find him attractive anymore.
You and Caesar take a moment to react
âWe should go to him, right?â you say in a breath.Â
Caesar nods hard. âFuck, yes. We canât just leave him like this.â
You weave through the crowd together and manage to get inside the hallway of the dressing rooms, you knock twice in the door another dancer told you that Joseph was. He opens the door after a second and just starts talking with you two still at the door.
âGuys... I... uh...â He scratches the back of his neck, avoiding your eyes. âThis isnât what it looks like! Well, it is, but crap, I needed the cash, okay? Donât tell anyone, pleaseâ
You bite your lip because he looks so damn cute right now. âCan we come in?â
Joseph furrows his eyebrows then nods, opening the door wider and letting you inside, closing it.
Caesar stares at him. âJoseph, you were actually good up there. Until you saw us.â
Joseph groans, burying his face in his hands. âShut up, Caesar! This is so humiliating. Why are you even here?â
You swallow, heart racing for a whole new reason now. âWe, um... just wanted a fun night out. We didnât expect to find you here of all places.â
Joseph looks so small under that hoodie, shoulders hunched, cheeks flushed dark red. His usual loud confidence is gone, replaced by a sort of vulnerability that makes your chest ache. He keeps glancing at the floor, wishing it would open up and drop him straight to the center of the earth.
âHey, JoJo,â you say softly, stepping closer. âNow that your secretâs out... we can tell you one of ours. Make it even, right? Itâs kinda embarrassing too.â
Caesar raises an eyebrow at you but doesnât stop you. Joseph lifts his head a little, curious despite everything. âWhat? You guys rob a bank or something?â
You laugh lightly, trying to keep it playful. âNo, nothing like that. Me and Caesar... weâve been making out. Like, a lot. We didnât want to tell you because we figured youâd freak out about your two best friends fooling around.â
You expect him to yell, or tease, or make some big dramatic scene. Instead his face falls even more. The color drains from his cheeks and his beautiful bright eyes that usually sparkle with mischief look... sad. Really sad. He tries to smile but it wobbles and dies halfway.
âOh,â he mumbles, voice quieter than youâve ever heard it. âThatâs... thatâs cool. Iâm happy for you guys.â
His hands fidget with the hem of his hoodie and he wonât meet either of your eyes anymore. Caesar notices too, his playful expression fading into concern. âWoah, hey. Whatâs wrong, amico?â
Joseph lets out a shaky breath, rubbing the back of his neck hard. âNothing, uh⊠Itâs late, I have a few dances left and Iâd prefer for you guys to leave. Donât tell anyone, please.â
You and Caesar exchange a worried glance, Joseph looks so defeated standing there, hoodie pulled low over his eyes, voice cracking just a little on that last please.Â
âOkay... if thatâs what you want,â you say softly, reaching out to touch his arm for a second. He flinches but doesnât pull away. âWeâll go. But text us when youâre done, yeah? Please?â
Caesar nods. âWeâre sorry for crashing your night like this, Joseph. Take care of yourself up there.âÂ
The two of you head out of the club, the cool night air hitting your faces and clearing some of the drunk fog. Neither of you says much at first. You walk close together, shoulders brushing, but the worry sits between you loudly.Â
âHe looked so sad,â you whisper, biting your lip. âI thought telling him would even things out... but I messed up.â
Caesar sighs, slipping his arm around your waist anyway. âWe should have waited, I donât know. Letâs just get home and figure out what to do tomorrow.â
Meanwhile, inside the club, Joseph stands frozen for a long moment after you two leave. He takes off his hoodie and sits down on the tiny couch he has there. He feels like a complete idiot, his chest hurts, he keeps replaying the way you looked at Caesar. How could he not realize? You two were making out every other night while he was out here dancing for tips, dreaming about maybe confessing one day. Now you were together and he was just the embarrassing best friend who shakes his ass on stage.
Tears prick at the corners of his eyes but he wipes them away angrily. He feels stupid for crying for this shit. You probably feel sorry for him now, he canât put himself together to see you two again.
He knows he has to go back out there in a few minutes, paste his performer smile and move like nothingâs wrong. But heâs alone with his thoughts, thinking how much of a fool he feels like and how lonely the night suddenly seems.
You and Caesar agree that the best thing you can do is give Joseph some space, but what are you meant to do when said space becomes too damn long for you to handle. You miss him. So. Fucking. Much. Being with Caesar is fine, but when itâs the three of you together, sharing food on the floor of your apartment because you only have one chair, fighting about what movie to watch or making fun of Caesarâs questionable food choices. Thatâs when you feel the best. And Caesar too. Something is missing when itâs just the two of you.
After four long days of radio silence, the quiet in your apartment starts to feel unbearable. Joseph has not answered a single text, you and Caesar keep catching each other staring at your phones, hoping. Finally you both decide enough is enough.
That night you head back to the club together, nerves buzzing under your skin. You check the stage schedule posted near the entrance and wait until Josephâs set is over before slipping inside. The dressing room door is half open, and there he is.
Joseph stands in front of a cracked mirror in nothing but some tight stage pants, brushing his dark hair back with frustrated strokes. The muscles in his back tense when he catches your reflection.
He spins around fast, eyes wide at first then narrowing in anger. âWhat the hell are you two doing here?â
You step inside first, heart pounding hard. Caesar stays right behind you, quiet but solid.
âWe gave you space, Joseph,â you say, voice already heating up. âWe miss you. I miss my best friend. You canât just shut us out forever because things got weird one night.â
Josephâs grip tightens on the hairbrush until his knuckles turn white. âYou think Iâm shutting you out? You show up here, in my dressing room, right before I have to go dance again and act like Iâm the one being dramatic? Why canât you just leave me alone for a little longer?â
His words sting and you feel your face get hot. âBecause we love having you around, you idiot! I gave you time to clear your head but now I want my Joseph back. Not this version who hides from us.â
Caesar tries to cut in gently but Joseph is already shaking, chest rising fast. The brush clatters onto the counter as he steps closer, voice getting louder and louder.
âYouâre the idiot! How can you not realize that Iâm in love with both of you?â he practically shouts, eyes shiny and desperate. âI have been for ages! Every time we hang out I feel like my heart is gonna explode and I-I push it down because I didnât want to ruin what we have. Then I see you two together and it kills me. So yeah, Iâm angry. Iâm embarrassed. And I donât know how to be around you anymore.â
The dressing room goes dead quiet except for Josephâs heavy breathing. He looks raw, like heâs about to cry. No one moves or talks for a long second, before Caesar takes a step between both of you.
âDid you guys finish screaming at each other?â he asks, calm but tired. His golden hair catches the cheap dressing room light, making him look too pretty for a moment like this.
You and Joseph both freeze, breathing hard.Â
Caesar sighs softly and runs a hand through his own hair. âLook, this is messy. We all messed up a bit. But Joseph, you canât drop something like that and then expect us to just walk away again.â
Joseph looks down at the floor, shoulders slumping. All that fire from a second ago drains out of him, leaving him looking small and scared in the middle of the tiny room.Â
âI didnât mean to yell,â he mumbles. âItâs been eating me up inside. Seeing you act all secret and cute while I was over here wishing I could be part of it. I felt like an idiot. Still do.â
Your chest tightens, you step around Caesar and reach for Josephâs hand without thinking. His fingers are warm and a little shaky when they curl around yours.Â
âYouâre not an idiot, JoJo. We had no idea.â
Caesar moves closer too, placing a careful hand on Josephâs shoulder. âYou were good on that stage, you know. Even when you almost fell on your face seeing us.â A tiny smile tugs at his lips, trying to lighten the mood. âAnd we miss our trio. The apartment feels empty without you stealing all the blankets.â
Joseph lets out a watery laugh, but his eyes still look shiny. He squeezes your hand back, thumb brushing over your knuckles in that familiar nervous way. âSo what now? I just confessed Iâm in love with my two best friends. What the fuck does one in this situation?â
You and Caesar share a quick look, enough to know exactly what you were thinking. You talked first. âWhy donât we sit down?â
Joseph blinks at you like he is not sure he heard right, but he lets you pull him over to the small worn out couch in the corner of the dressing room. The three of you squeeze onto it together, your thigh pressed against his and Caesar on his other side. The space is tiny so you are all basically tangled already.
âYouâre not an idiot, Joseph,â you say softly, reaching up to brush some hair out of his face. âYou are actually really amazing. I love how loud you get when you are excited. So passionate and funny. I never wanted to hurt you by keeping things from you.â
Caesar nods, his hand resting on Josephâs knee now, thumb rubbing slow circles there. âSheâs right. Youâre strong and stupidly handsome. You have no idea how much we both like having you around. How much we need you.â
Josephâs cheeks turn bright red again, but this time itâs not just from embarrassment. He shifts a little between you two, looking confused as hell when your fingers trail down his arm and Caesar leans in closer, nuzzling against his shoulder.Â
âW-wait, what is this?â he stutters, eyes wide as he glances between you and Caesar. âAre you messing with me right now?â
You smile softly and cup his cheek, thumb brushing over his warm skin. âWe are not messing with you. I think we have feelings for you too. It has always been the three of us, right? Maybe we didnât see it before because we were scared, but now that itâs out, it feels right.â
Caesar presses a light kiss to Josephâs temple, making the poor guy freeze up completely. âWe want you here with us. If youâll have us.â
Joseph is speechless, but heâs not rejecting any of your touches.
You lean forward first, pressing a soft kiss to the corner of his mouth. âYouâre so cute when you get flustered.â
âIâm-Iâm not flustered,â he tries, pouting a little
Caesar chuckles low, his hand sliding up Josephâs back, fingers tracing the muscles there. He kisses the other side of Josephâs neck, making Joseph shiver hard between you.Â
âSo strong,â Caesar murmurs. âAll that dancing has done you good, bet youâre really flexible too.â
Joseph lets out a shaky breath, one hand coming up to grip your waist because he needs something to hold onto.Â
âYou two.. mmm,â he mumbles. He turns his head toward you and you meet him halfway.
The kiss starts gentle, just lips brushing, but Joseph makes this little surprised sound that melts into neediness. His mouth is eager, a little clumsy from nerves, you smile into it while your fingers run through his hair. Caesar watches for a second before he leans in too, kissing along Josephâs jaw and then catching his lips when you pull back for air.
You keep touching him, hands roaming over his bare chest, feeling the way his heart hammers under your palm. Caesarâs fingers knead at his shoulder, then slide down to his side, pulling him closer until Joseph is basically sandwiched between your bodies. Soft kisses turn a little longer, a little hungrier. Josephâs hand squeezes your hip, thumb rubbing circles there, while his other hand finds Caesarâs thigh.
Youâre in such a high you donât even hear someone knocking and shouting that Joseph has to perform in about five minutes.
a/n: this is a mess but that fanart has been stucked in my brain for months. don't ask for part 2 cause i won't be writing it
