mun name : smam mun age : 24 character name : skadi thyra thjazidottir nielsen character age : 32 position at the hospital : attending general surgeon, studies regenerative medicine short bio   &   headcanons : skadi has always been interested in medicine and helping people. she left denmark behind when she was accepted into johns hopkins university. while there, she majored in biomedical engineering and attended johns hopkins medical school. she was easily top of her class as she dedicated all of her time to being the best at what she does. after completing her surgical residency at johns hopkins, skadi became an attending general surgeon and focused on regenerative medicine.

skadi is a danish immigrant. her mother is from the faroe islands and her father is from iceland. she is proud to be an immigrant. after immigrating she changed her last name to nielsen, her mother's maiden name. she figures it's easier then her actual surname, which she keeps now as a second middle name.

skadi speaks six languages, with english being her sixth. she is learning spanish, and it's taking her some time. she is at a beginner level but is happy with her progress.

she is openly bisexual, though she doesn't often talk about being agender. it's a part of her identity, but she knows many people aren't comfortable with her gender identity, so she tends to not mention it unless she knows the other person has an open mind.

she does as many pro bono surgeries as she possibly can. it's important to her that people get medical care, especially if they can't pay.

short bio   &   headcanons :    morgan stark has always been exceptionally gifted and ahead for her age. born into a family of medical practitioners , morgan was nothing less. having a knack for the sciences, morgan graduated university at the age of 17. currently, she’s pursuing her medical degree at johns hopkins , and will sit for her medical licensing exam , in order to apply as a resident and future neurosurgeon at the hospital .

• though morgan is academically gifted , she still lacks experience and is always looking up to the guidance of the doctors around her .

• she has a positive attitude & is very easy to get along with .

• biomedical engineering was her pre-med as she aspires to use her passion for technology to produce advanced medical care all over the world .

• she loves taking care of other people but often lacks to take care of herself . examples include running on coffee and forgetting to eat , but it’s something she’s learning to curb because she’s slowly learning that in order to take care of others , she has to first take care of herself .

• her choice to go into neurosurgery is heavily inspired by her mother , and because she wants to discover ways of developing / operating on the brain using advanced technology .

mun name :    Dany mun age :     27 ( 28 next month ) character name :     virginia ’ pepper ’ potts character age :     34 position at the hospital :     attending neurosurgeon short bio   &   headcanons :       virginia ’ pepper ’ potts , born into a family of doctors, and it was always a hope that she would continue into the family business. her mother is a heart surgeon , whereas her father is a general practicioner. when virginia was young, her grandmother was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor, and unfortunately passed away due to this. this springboarded her interest in neurology. she wanted to be the one to be able to operate on the inoperable. pepper graduated top of her class. 

pepper is a nickname , though professionally she does prefer to go by virginia ( this usually doesn’t happen )

being so wrapped up in schooling, she isn’t really interested in any sort of dating. 

pepper usually keeps to herself when she’s at home. 

she is very much married to her work, preferring to find joy in helping those who originally lost all hope. 

she is a closeted bisexual.

mun name : alex  mun age : 24  character name : bucky barnes  character age :  33  position at the hospital :   previously a transplant surgeon, but has now been in his position as physical therapist for a year.  short bio   &   headcanons :   bucky decided early on in life that he wanted a medical career. seeing how quickly his mother died made him long to be a part of something greater than himself. her doctors and nurses were incredible, and he longed to work somewhere that one day, he could perhaps be saving a life. bucky spent all of his childhood/teen years/etc working towards that goal, studying as hard as he could.  when he was diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder at 14 years old, bucky didn’t let this slow him down. it of course, effected his life, but it only solidified his goals to find a way through it, and be able to work in the medical field. for a long time, he considered becoming a therapist, before refocusing on the idea of becoming a transplant surgeon.  

after graduating college, completing his four years of med school, and then five years of surgery residency, he was able to finally work where he’d been wanting to for years. he also spent this time studying physical therapy too, as it was something of great interest to him. it meant a lot of work, but he managed it.  at 30, he became a transplant surgeon and would spend the next two years of his life dedicated to it. bucky was exceptional in his field, constantly striving to be better and to make people’s lives better.  but he found, there was something missing. there was a satisfaction that came in his work, of knowing he got to change lives– but he wanted more. he realised it was exactly why he’d wanted to be a therapist back in the day– because he longed to build that connection with a person, and be a big part of their journey. so, given his studying to become a physical therapist, two years into being a surgeon, bucky had a career change.   

he’s now worked as a physical therapist for one year, and couldn’t be happy with his choice. every day, he gets to help people over come massive obstacles. it’s a constant challenge, but one he adores being a part of. 

**extra details: as with my bucky’s canon, bucky comes from a family with two other siblings, but it used to be three. bucky’s youngest brother died after battling with drug and alcohol addiction at a young age. the loss is still something that weighs heavily on bucky, even now over a decade later.  bucky also identifies as genderqueer and bisexual, and it’s something he’s very loud and proud about, and he actually runs a lgbtq+ society within the staff. he’s also lived in the same building since his residency, and often throws roof parties for other colleagues that live in the building. and every saturday morning is waffles and pancake morning at bucky’s! the door is always unlocked, and there is always plenty of coffee.

mun name :     lily mun age :     27 character name :     steve rogers character age :     32 position at the hospital :     attending paediatric surgeon short bio   &   headcanons :     at the age of six years old , steve rogers has   always   wanted to become a doctor.   losing his dad around that time due to cancer   ,   he was always mesmerised by the way doctors did their very best to keep him alive.   and by the paediatric department to keep him occupied as best as they could.   being left with his mom   ,   he basically made it his goal to somehow pay back everything she’s ever given him   ;   a life   ,   the chance of going to college   ,   of going to medical school.   however   ,   at the age of twenty - two   ,   one year after graduating and starting med school he became   a father   of an adorable little girl named   annie.   it became a struggle   ,   but if it hadn’t been for his mom helping out   &   raising her with him while he attended classes   &   long shifts as an intern   ,   he never would have been able to keep her seeing as how the mother lost   all rights   due to her being a drug addict and nearly killed their child while she was too busy getting high.   steve worked his way up   ,   following his surgical residency   &   eventually becoming attending paediatric surgeon at the hospital.   

he has an incredible soft spot for children due to him being a father himself.

he hasn’t dated anyone in ten years because his main focus has always been his daughter.   despite his daughter being incredibly smart and making remarks over why he’s always alone.

he has several tattoos that are easily covered up because of his scrubs and coat   ,   but most are just important   &   relevant events that happened in his life.

he’s openly pansexual and does not hide it from his work place either.   while he hasn’t dated anyone   ,   there have been occasional hook-ups   &   one night stands   ,   but he rather not mention them often.

he’s very protective of annie   &   when he does nightshifts   &   his mother can’t keep her   ,   he managed to discuss with the chief to keep her at the hospital in the break room even if it’s just to let her sleep.   the whole hospital knows her either way.

he’s a   very insecure bean   &   will never take the first step when it comes to showing his attraction towards someone.   it almost needs to be spelled out for him or just told him point blank.

his work is his main focus   ,   and something he most definitely takes to the heart.   he can get rather invested in his work   &   sometimes extremely emotional if a surgery or a case doesn’t work out the way they planned   &   a patient passes away.
