Something that really pisses me off is that whenever people talk about that scene with Natasha in Age of Ultron where she talks about being sterile and says “You still think you’re the only monster on this team” people completely ignore the fact that Bruce is the one who first brought up the fact that he can’t have kids, Natasha’s comment is in response to what Bruce said. So whenever people complain about Natasha and her being upset about not being able to have kids, and sexism of that, they I guess just ignored the fact that Bruce not being able to have kids is what the conversation was about. So therefore when people complain that Natasha is upset about the kids thing, they should also talk about how Bruce was the one saying that even if he didn’t have to deal with the Hulk, he wasn’t going to be a good person for Natasha to end up with because he can’t have kids. Natasha was just comparing her experiences, and she didn’t even truly say her being a monster was because of the kids thing, if anything it felt more like she was talking about the Red Room, and her past being the reason she was a monster. BRUCE WAS THE ONE PUTTING HIS VALUE ON HIS INABILITY TO HAVE CHILDREN, NOT NATASHA. NATASHA WAS COMFORTING HIM WITH THE INFORMATION THAT EVEN IF SHE GOT WITH SOMEONE WHO COULD HAVE KIDS, BECAUSE SHE GOT STERILIZED SHE COULDN’T HAVE KIDS ANYWAY. HE WAS THE ONE WHO DIDN’T THINK THAT EVEN IF HE WASN’T ABLE TO HAVE KIDS SHE STILL SHOULD BE WITH HIM. NATASHA WAS THE ONE WHO STILL WANTED TO BE IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH SOMEONE ELSE EVEN IF SHE COULDN’T HAVE KIDS. AND PART OF THE REASON THAT IT AFFECTED HER SO MUCH WAS THAT SHE JUST HAD A VISION ABOUT THE TRAMA OF THE RED ROOM, WHICH INCLUDED HAVING SOMETHING DONE TO HER BODY WITHOUT HER CONSENT. BRUCE IS THE PERSON WHO FELT LIKE HE WASN’T A GOOD PARTNER BECAUSE HE COULDN’T HAVE KIDS, HE WAS BEING COMPARED TO, HE INITIATED THE TALK ABOUT KIDS, SHE JUST RESPONDED

Day seven: Free Prompt

It had been a fairly busy week for the Chaotix all things considered, but they didn’t have anything to do today. So with no other ideas, they defaulted back to a simple way to pass the time. Getting out the cleats, borrowing a ball, and playing some soccer.

Because they didn’t have enough people for an actual game of soccer, they instead would just mess around with the ball. They used the area between two trees as a goal. Espio managed a move that he didn’t know the name of, but he basically just did a somersault and kicked the ball in midair as he did the somersault.

Charmy tried, and after some attempts succeeded to bounce the ball on his legs. After which he then proceeded to victory dance. Then he tried to kick the ball in midair as he flew to it, but after a couple tries he gave up on that and just kicked it normally.

Vector wasn’t as agile as Charmy and Espio however, so instead of doing cool tricks, he mostly just did some dribbling and got the ball stolen from him several times. Because being smaller means you can move faster. It didn’t really matter, as it was all just for fun.

After a bit they took a water break, and Espio had the bright idea to also bring along some snacks because they were all a bit hungry after all the soccer practice.

They played until the sun was starting to set, and then they gave the ball back to the neighbor they borrowed it from. It might not have been the most eventful day, but it was still a very good day.

Day six: Injury

Charmy really enjoyed gardening. The smell of the plants, the feel of the warm sun, the dirt under your hands, honestly he didn’t know why anyone wouldn’t love it.

Unfortunately, Vector was busy, but Espio thankfully was helping him garden. Even gardening wasn’t as fun by yourself. They were helping one of their neighbors, and Charmy was enjoying himself.

Far too soon in Charmy’s opinion, they were done with gardening, and Charmy had their gloves (they took them off so that they could feel the dirt better) and their tools, and Espio was closing the fence.

“Ow,” said Espio suddenly, quickly pulling back his hand.

Charmy, a bit worried, asked, “What’s wrong?”

Espio replied with, “Splinter.”

And thankfully, their neighbor’s house wasn’t far from their house. When they got back Charmy opened the cupboard that contained the first aid kit, and set it down on the table. He took out the tweezers, and after disinfecting them, began the operation. Espio had taught Charmy how to use the tweezers, and how to disinfect them. And some other first aid things. He even taught him some cpr, because Espio had his lifeguard certification, and they teach you cpr there.

Paying more attention now, Charmy took out the magnifying glass, and carefully moved the tweezers into place. He slowly closed the tweezers around the splinter, and slowly moved it out. He then placed it on a paper towel, before taking out a bandage with flowers on it.

“Here Espio,” said Charmy as he handed the bandage to him.

With a smile on his face, Espio said in response, “Thanks Charmy.”

And Charmy celebrated a job well done with some water after putting the first aid kit away.

Day five: Stargazing

Charmy knew that he had to go to bed, but he just couldn’t sleep. After a while he decided to go get some food, and as quietly as he could, he closed his door and walked to the kitchen, past Vector’s room. He tried to mimic Espio, and made it to the kitchen.

“Charmy, what are you doing?”

Charmy looked around surprised, and standing in the kitchen, was Espio.

“Uhhh, I was hungry,” admitted Charmy.

Espio just said in response, “What do you want?”

“A grilled cheese sandwich.” answered Charmy.

Espio headed to the fridge to get the ingredients, and Charmy noticed that Espio already had out the bread, some ham, cheese, tomatoes, and green vegetables.

Espio took out more cheese, and proceeded to make both his and Charmy’s sandwiches, and while doing so asked Charmy, “So, what are you doing up so late?”

“I couldn’t sleep. And why are you up so late?” Asked Charmy semi accusatory.

Espio smiled a little, before saying, “Couldn’t sleep as well.” He took out two plates, and placed both their sandwiches on different plates. He handed Charmy’s plate to him, and grabbed his own. They sat down at the table, and started eating the sandwiches.

Charmy then noticed that there weren’t any clouds out, and the stars were very visible. “Hey Espio, could we do some stargazing?” He asked, excitedly.

Espio smiled again, before saying, “Sure, just eat your sandwich first.”

Happily, Charmy complied. And once they were both done with their sandwiches, they snuck out of the door, and headed out. Laying down on the wet grass, Charmy noticed something.

“Hey, constellations don’t look that much like the stars they’re based on.” He said pointing at the sky. “That one looks more like a lion than the lion constellation.”

“Well, I don’t really know why those stars were picked, but the night sky sure is beautiful.” Said Espio.

Charmy just stared at the sky, the stars looking like bright dots. And it really was kinda beautiful.

Day four: Old Friends

Espio, Charmy, and Vector were all just relaxing, when suddenly they heard a knock on their door. Confused, Espio carefully opened the door, and was surprised to see, “Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, what are you three doing here?”

With a grin on his face, Sonic responded to that with, “Just wanted to hang out today. It’s a nice day out, after all.”

Charmy and Vector had also come over to the door, and Espio simply responded with, “Sure,”

And so the six had headed to a pond nearby, where Sonic was teaching Charmy how to skip stones.

“Okay, so you just move your arm here, then do this, then toss the stone,” said Sonic as he demonstrated, and his stone skipped really far before it sank.

“Kay,” responded Charmy as he copied what Sonic had done, and while his stone hadn’t gone as far as Sonic’s, it still skipped a good distance. Charmy was excited about that, and Espio and Vector congratulated Charmy for the stone skipping.

Tails and Knuckles were watching some birds meanwhile. And soon they headed back to their house, where Vector put on some music.

“Hey, I like this song,” said Sonic before he started dancing to it, and Sonic was a good dancer. Vector and Sonic had a bit of a dance off, with Charmy, Tails, Knuckles, and Espio all dancing as well.

And as it was nearly noon, they were all a bit hungry, so they started to make some sandwiches. And because they didn’t have six chairs, they all just stood in the kitchen, eating the sandwiches and talking.

After that Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles left, with waved goodbyes and smiles. And Espio felt that it had been a really good day.

Day three: Missing Member

At the sight of the robots, Vector smirked. While this technically wasn’t a case, they were hired to destroy the robots in this base, and Team Chaotix never turns down a case (especially against someone who didn’t pay them).

Letting out a shriek, the three charged, Vector smashing through the robots like they weren’t there to begin with, Charmy dodging attacks and retaliating with attacks of his own, and Espio’s invisibility allowing for many sneak attacks on the unsuspecting robots. Quickly all the robots in the area were destroyed, and they continued on, destroying all the robots they saw, until they ran into a problem. There was a laser grid that went up to the ceiling, and they couldn’t find an off switch on either side of the grid. And while Espio’s invisibility could get him through it, he couldn’t make Charmy or Vector invisible as well.

So, with no other options, Espio proposed a plan, “I’ll head on and try to find a way to turn this off. Then we can continue destroying these robots.”

Despite the fact that it was the only option, Vector objected to it, “Espio, we have no clue how far you would have to go to turn this off. For all we know we’d have to destroy the entire base to turn it off.”

Even though Vector objected, Espio turned invisible and went through the laser grid, and all Vector and Charmy could do was wait.

Vector sat down next to a wall, and knowing that Vector was a bit worried, Charmy then told Vector, “Espio’s really good at not getting caught. He’ll be fine, right?” Despite the attempt to be reassuring, he sounded as worried as Vector was. Despite that, Vector tried to calm himself down. Charmy was right, Espio was good at not getting caught, he’ll be fine.

But what if Eggman made it so that the robots past the laser grid weren’t affected by Espio’s invisibility. What if he only placed the laser grid here to separate them, so that Espio could be dealt with without any backup. What if he placed the really powerful robots there with them also not being affected by his invisibility. Oh no, oh no, why did they let Espio go by himself.

Immediately Vector shot up, panic clear on his face. And from the look on Charmy’s face, he was feeling the same fear.

“Charmy, try to help me destroy this laser grid. There might not be an off switch, but that doesn’t mean we can’t make one of our own!” Vector ordered Charmy. And Charmy immediately complied.

Powered by the fear of Espio being in danger, the two managed to break the laser gate enough that Vector and Charmy could get through. Racing through the base, they didn’t need to run long before Espio reappeared in front of them.

“Vector, Charmy, what are you two doing here?” Asked Espio.

Charmy then spoke up, “Well, we were worried that you were in trouble.”

And Espio, with a look of sheer bewilderment, just responded to that with, “I was gone for less than three minutes.”

Admittedly they had spiraled fast, and Vector just said, “Let’s just continue on.”

It turned out that Vector’s fears were completely unfounded, as none of the robots were ever able to detect Espio was there. But with a fair bit of embarrassment from Vector and Charmy, they destroyed the base.

Day two: Picnic

Leaning against a wall, Espio smiled at Charmy and Vector, who had insisted that they had to check the list of picnic supplies for the fifth time.

“Okay, we’ve got the blanket and basket, let’s just double check the food now, and we’ll be good to go,” said Vector as Charmy opened the basket.

Espio was rather grateful that after learning that they hadn’t gone food shopping in over two weeks, Amy, Cream, and Big had given them some more food, so they wouldn’t have to buy it.

Strolling over to Vector and Charmy, who had finally finished checking the list, he then asked, “Are we ready to go now?”

Taking one final look at the list, Vector replied with, “Yeah, we’re ready. Boys, let’s go.”

“Alright!” Said Charmy excitedly as he held the basket.

They had decided to have the picnic at the playground near their house because it was close by. They set down the blanket and Charmy placed the basket in the middle. Vector opened it, and inside were sandwiches, fruit, juice, and cookies. Espio was happy to have made the food with Vector and Charmy. It was really good, especially the cookies. And it was a really nice day out, sunny and with a breeze. The perfect combination.

But the only thing that mattered to Espio was that he got to spend time with Charmy and Vector.

Day one: Stakeout

“Alright boys, this should be an easy one. We just have to watch out for one guy, and then get paid.” Said Vector excitedly.

Espio, who had been surveilling the area since they had arrived, had replied sharply with, “Even if this is a simpler mission, that doesn’t mean it is any less dangerous. Don’t let your guard down, even for a single moment.”

Charmy meanwhile was thinking. He had a feeling that they had forgotten to do something, and was trying to figure out what it was they forgot. They had scraped together enough money to pay rent (Shadow, Rouge, and Omega employing them and refusing to let them not get paid had certainly helped with that), they paid the bills, and even gotten taxes done. It had been a very good month, but he just knew they forgot to do something.

“Charmy, get over here,” said Vector.

Oh well, he could figure out what they forgot to do later. Charmy flew over to Vector and Espio, who were watching out for whoever it was that they were trying to catch (Charmy hadn’t paid attention, he was too busy trying to figure out what they forgot) and hovered close to Vector’s face.

“Alright Charmy, fly over to there and let us know if you see anyone.” Said Vector as he pointed to where he wanted Charmy to go.

Charmy just replied with, “Yeah!” Before zooming over to where he was supposed to go. He then watched, as best as he could when he still had something important to think about. As he saw nobody, and he still couldn’t figure out what they forgot, he passed the time by looking at a squirrel that was nearby. Charmy really liked squirrels, and wished he had something he could feed it. Then Charmy suddenly realized what they forgot.

“Did we buy food?” Asked Charmy.

Vector and Espio both thought for a second, and remembered that the last time they had gone food shopping, was over two weeks ago. And they usually bought food that was nearing its expiration date, because it was usually cheaper, and Vector refused to let them eat food that was past the expiration date, even by a day, so they really had to buy more food soon.

Vector, with his hand on his face, had simply replied with, “No, we did not. We’ll go after this case.”

Charmy excited replied with, “Great!” before noticing somebody walking. “Hey, there’s someone there.”

Vector and Espio both looked at where Charmy was looking, and with a smirk, Vector then said, “Yup, that’s our guy. Alright boys, let’s go.”

“Roger,” said Espio sharply, before turning invisible.

“Yeah, let’s go,” said Charmy excitedly.

Not all friends are lovers but all lovers should be friends

Bucky uses his nickname so much that at this point he probably should just make Bucky his legal name.

Okay, I just thought of a reason as to why in Steve’s vision in Avengers Age of Ultron it had to have been Peggy and not Bucky that was present.

Because Peggy represents the life Steve had before going into the ice.

Okay, so all the visions are of the things the characters are afraid of about themselves. Thor is afraid that he is only going to destroy things, Natasha is afraid that she will never be free from her past, Tony is afraid that he’s going to be the reason the people he cares about gets hurt. But then if we go with how many people see the scene, what would Steve’s fear be? Because how many people see the scene is that it’s something Steve actually wants, the dance. And people are missing Steve’s fear because they are missing what Peggy should represent.

Because Steve’s fear according to this scene is that if he doesn’t let go of the past, he won’t have anything. When Peggy talks about home, home means his old life. And when he tries to imagine it, he’s completely alone, thinking about what ifs. And if he never moved forward, he would have never gotten the Avengers, or any part of his new life.

And Bucky can’t represent that. Because Bucky is still around in the present, and even if all the stuff with Hydra happened, it doesn’t change a single thing in Steve’s eyes, because he doesn’t care if the Bucky he has currently isn’t the same Bucky as from before the ice. It’s always going to be Bucky.

Bucky could still be a home, but Peggy could never be one. So, it had to be her, representing how Steve feels about his old life, that fear that if he doesn’t let it go, he won’t have anyone. Because the people he cares for aren’t in that party, they are in the present day, and they could never be at that party.

And this interpretation makes Steve’s line at the end of the film, where he says, “I’m home,” make more sense, because home isn’t him alone, thinking about what could have happened, home is the Avengers, and what is going to happen. The future, not the past.

Bucky is the future, Peggy is the past.

And the line about how Steve can’t live without a war also has more depth with this in mind, because the war also refers to the past, because the party had those things that reminded Steve of war. But Steve isn’t a soldier, he’s an Avenger.

And in Captain America the first Avenger, Bucky is literally the person Steve is Avenging, meanwhile Peggy is the person connected to the war and the military stuff.

So, Peggy is there because she’s the one that represents the old life Steve had, and his vision is him fearing that not letting go of the old life will leave Steve completely alone.

You know, it’s odd that so many people complained about Natasha not being able to have kids and being affected by having had something happen to her body without her consent (which if you didn’t know that description applies to rape) but there’s less of a backlash that Wanda did all that she did in Multiverse of Madness because of her not having kids. And she never once brought up Vision, just the kids. Her entire reasoning for her to become a villain was that she didn’t have kids, she killed many people and tried to kill and innocent child because of not having kids, meanwhile Natasha had the opportunity to leave everyone else and just go with Bruce, who even gave the option, and she instead brought out the Hulk because she knew that Ultron was still around and couldn’t leave until he was gone. And yet there’s more backlash about one single scene of her trying to comfort Bruce about his feelings on not being able to have kids by talking about her experience with not having kids, and reassuring him that he wasn’t ruining her future because he couldn’t have kids, talking about the both of them when she brought up the monster thing, than there is about Wanda not mentioning Vision at all, killing people, and ruining several lives for children

Okay, so the dark elves’s stuff was powered by the reality stone. And Hydra’s stuff was powered by the space stone. So what differences did the difference stones have in what the weapons? Because I’m not sure if the dark elves’s stuff was different because of the different stones or because they were made with different purposes in mind.

Okay, here’s an idea: platonic shipping. As in, I want to see these people having a non romantic relationship. Because a lot of the time whenever I see a ship, I’d enjoy seeing the characters interact, but I don’t want to see them doing straight up couple stuff, like kissing or having sex. Although dates are something I’d like to see.

Okay, I’ve seen a lot of people talking about animated films aimed at an older audience, well I’m here to say that if there are less animated kids films, there should be an equal amount of live action kids films. Live action isn’t just an teenager/adult medium by that logic. (Seriously though kids don’t have that much to enjoy that’s actually good, kids aren’t dumb, and they need more films, and live action films catered to them could help people realize that).
