No lesbophobes, misogynists, biphobes, transmisogynists, transphobes or homophobes.
No transandrophobia bros.
No SWERFs or otherwise people with conservative and/or reactionary views around sex work and sex workers. Sex work on itself is neutral like most other forms of compensated labor, and the more we stigmatize, criminalize and/or marginalize the work itself and its workers, the more we create space for coercion, violence, abuse and trafficking within or masquerading as sex work. Sex workers are no more "selling themselves/their bodies" than other workers slowly but surely permanently disabling themselves for a paycheck. The key to the safety of sex workers is giving them workers' rights because we live under capitalism hell, not berating them, patronizing them, or much less jailing them. Similarly the products of sex work (such as porn) often do contain misogyny... As do the products of law workers, marketing workers, creative workers, construction workers, healthcare workers, and so on. Because we live in a misogynistic society, stupid. Same for all other forms of bigotry often found in porn. You're not exempt, they're not worse than you.
No racists (including antiblack poc), antisemites or zionists. No US or otherwise imperial core chauvinists. Your lives aren't more worthy than those of the global south.
Very much uninterested on liberals interacting with me or my posts, for the love of God please leave me alone.
I'm very against the whole m-spec "lesbian" bullshit and no you will not convince me that it's #Valid. I'm not interested in the politics of the validity of identity labels, I'm only interested in labels in their capacity to describe our positionality within hierarchies of power and oppression. Lesbian identity describes specific gender relations within our established patriarchy, and part of those gender relations is as women or women-adjacent people who do not willingly form sexual or romantic relationships with men outside of sex work or other similar survival needs.
I'm similarly opposed to TME people claiming the transfem label. Fuck off.
If you're an able-bodied person who thinks physically disabled people have it somehow easier, are more believed, or are given more compassion/sympathy, and/or you co-opt our struggles, kindly kill yourself. <3
If you're someone who thinks misogyny is Oppression Lite™ also kindly kill yourself yes even if you're LGBT/disabled/etc. I don't care. Die. <3
I'd rather swifties stay the fuck away from me purely because you're all insufferable even if the mediocre white woman you all were worshiping wasn't a snake billionaire polluter bully.
you can just say "person with ovaries." "an AFAB" makes literally no sense here, in addition to being grammatically nonsensical. sorry but this bleet has been pissing me off all day but i feel like if i reply to it i'll get it trouble.
a trans man who hasn't had any ovaries for 25 years isn't going to experience perimenopause in his mid-40s, so why include him based on a gender assigned to him as a baby? like... he was a baby.
like why bother acting like you want to be trans-inclusive if you're too lazy to recognize that sometimes, trans bodies aren't going to be the same as they were at birth when they got handed their baby gender
something really jokerifying about the US government fearmongering about hrt being horrible and dangerous and then turning around and giving their soldiers hrt because they think it'll make them better at killing and raping people in iran
We went from “women are spermjacking men to extract child support from them” to “women refuse to have children and the birth rate is collapsing” in a decade crazy. How the men’s rights discourse tumbles.
You know, when I've remarked that a lot of the responses to my posts feel like people are just plucking out keywords they think they recognise based on the shape of them and replying to what they imagine the post says based on that, the possibility never occurred to me that this is actually how many American schools are currently teaching kids to read.
Like, my assumption this whole time has been that when folks go "I misunderstood this post that says [thing] as saying [unrelated thing] because I mistook [word] for [completely different word that happens to start with the same letter]", that was a bit. What do you mean they're teaching kids a reading method that's tailored to produce this exact error?
i think a lot of the people who say that warning posts are useless drama-starters that only exist to further harass marginalized/vulnerable people would have more plausible deniability if those type of posts didnt spring up literally every single time a black user pointed out that a white user is racist
Black tumblr user: this user is racist, here is proof, and i would prefer it if those who willingly interact with this person after knowing this to keep their distance from me
dashboard for the next 4 days: when you make a callout post for someone you have murdered them. it is the same thing. it is the exact same thing as taking a life. you have killed them forever and you have blood on your hands.
I get in theory why people complain about het ships or whatever, I get wanting to watch queer media I really do, but I guess where y’all lose me is like. I saw some asshole on a post about Sinners complaining it was “hetslop”—this person was specifically doing so while also claiming Remmick was a queer character and thus they were justified in caring more about him than the Black protagonists. which is a whole other disgusting can of worms that has been well addressed by others at this point. but even in the absence of that part of the argument, like, no, i actually don’t think that a hunger for queer stories is an especially good excuse to deride and dismiss a piece of landmark Black filmmaking, especially as a non-Black person. I have a post that’s been going around encouraging folks to engage with more Native stories and characters, and I had someone come onto that post saying in the tags that they’d need these stories to be queer in order to care. and I just think that, you know, sucks! like obviously as a queer Native I also want to see more of those stories too. but idk how else to put it other than to say that Black people and people of color shouldn’t have to be like you in order for you to care about our narratives and experiences. and I think some of y’all are using this disdain for heterosexuality as a cover for your unexamined racial biases. it’s not okay to be racist to people just because those people happen to be straight, and you continue to be white before you are queer.
on an even more basic level than that, also, I simply just think some of y’all NEED to learn how to interact with media and storytelling without ships and fandom in mind. like if not being able to write fic about two men kissing is genuinely going to be a dealbreaker for you I think that’s actually something you need to work on within yourself because at that point I think you’re no longer really interacting with art and themes and narrative so much as just kind of playing with toys. which is, like, fine I guess. have fun. but it wouldn’t kill you to disengage from that from time to time. especially if would allow you to actually appreciate rich and deeply moving cultural stories from communities of color that you desperately need to learn how to see as human
does anyone feel like they want to be punished just so they would stop feeling like they are about to be punished for something. like then at least it would be over. or is it just me
the fuck is wrong with you people like i actually never said any of this you’re up here and you need to be allll the way down there. relax. this post is about calling 2 lesbians anything other than that bc all these words have quickly started to become a synonym for lesbian and no one wants to actually just say lesbian for a person who is a lesbian. Jesus Christ
See, @hussyknee when you don't view an extremely marginalized group as actual people, you see some of them say something you found mean and project it onto the entire group while foaming at the mouth.
And before you try and say to yourself that you do see lesbians as diverse multidimensional humans, ask yourself why you legit treated us all as a hivemind.
Lesbians disagree amongst ourselves all the fucking time. We can't "make up" our [collective] "damn minds" because we don't have One, there's actually millions of us. Some of whom might even disagree with me that you're a raging lesbophobe.
Honestly gotta say I don’t respect many of you for buying into Argentina’s victimhood narrative over being called racist for having no Black football players. It’s not racist to point out it was state policy to replace Black and Indigenous peoples with European immigrants. It’s not a “yankee opinion,” I first heard this criticism from my Latin American wife. I recently heard it in a room of Latin American and Afro Latina feminists
i think transfems should be allowed to be good at sports.
sometimes a trans woman wins against a cis woman. sometimes a cis woman wins against another cis woman too. yet only one of them is allowed to win without facing consequences.
it's not enough to support transfems in sports if your support hinges on us being bad at them.
