TMNT2012 OC IDEA

I might make this into a fic, but I'm lazy and also I'm struggling still with the next chapter of ICHR so idk if I will.

I came up with this while listening to Afraid by The Neighbourhood and thought, damn, this song would be a good Mikey angst song. And then, Sandro was born.

I know, I know, there's at least 500 OCs called Sandro at this point, but blame the renaissance for only having a small handful of actually famous artists.

If anyone else wants to turn this into a fic, let me know because I will absolutely read it 🙏 I yearn for Mikey angst always.

I love any type of engagement on my art! Especially tags and comments, they're my favourites :))

I put so much thought into my designs, I even redesigned them a few times. I also have a design for Simon/Garnet (they're genderfluid) and Snarf mostly looks the same cuz, lets be honest, he was perfect from the start.

I also made Topaz albino because pure topaz is clear! And shes also deaf and has hearing aids. And I did a bit of research into their surnames to figure out where they'd all come from, so Onyx is german, Saph is Japanese, Amy is dutch etc. Trollz was such a huge part of my childhood and I love that I can use my art to connect with others who are the same! (づ￣ ◡￣)づ♡

TROLLZ REDESIGN

I grew up watching Trollz and it's honestly been so influential in my childhood that I just HAD to do a redesign the characters.

It's criminally underrated and every day I'm devistated that it was cancelled. Onyx was actually my first girl crush :))

Anyways, in my version, they're in college instead of highschool. Onyx and Sapphire are dating and Amethyst and Ruby have a Rivals/friends/lovers dynamic. Topaz still likes Jasper (I think I'll redesign him too eventually)

ALTERNATE TEARS OF THE KINGDOM ARMOUR.

Aka: The armour sets Nintendo robbed us of.

I really wanted all these sets in the game and I'm still upset we never got any of them so I decided I'd just draw them.

ZONAI RESEARCHER SET:

Pretty self explanitory. I'd say it would have been given gradually over the tablet research quest or something. Wearing the whole set would speed up the battery recharge. Base defense would likely be 1 per piece.

LURELIN VILLAGE SET:

I've wanted this one since BOTW. It would either be quest gained or bought at the store. The lurelin store has always been underwhelming. The set bonus, animal friend, would make it less likely for animals to flee when you approach, making hunting, fishing and catching horses much easier. 2 base defence.

CECE BRAND SET:

I was beyond disappointed when I found out that the only Cece armour was that stupid hat. I wanted a full set. Since a lot of the Cece brand fanatics are travellers, I decided that the set bonus would be a discount on all travelling merchants' wares. 2 defence.

I don't know why I did this but I'm glad I did because I have many ideas for it.

LEONARDO:

The fun one of the group. He loves cartoons and video games. Quotes Space Heroes more often than in the show. He always has confetti on him and nobody knows where it comes from. He carries party poppers on him 24/7 and sometimes uses them in battle to surprise the enemies. He's super energetic, kind of dumb, and doesn't take anything seriously (unless he really needs to.)

RAPHAEL:

Leader of the group. He's strict, and takes everything very seriously. He rarely has outbursts of anger, but when he does, you know its serious. He's still super afraid of bugs, and Leo and Donnie like to prank him with fake cockroaches to see what kind of funny reaction they can get from him. Dispite his cold exterior, he cares deeply for all of his brothers.

DONATELLO:

Super grumpy and super edgy, although he is really a big softie inside. He always has headphones on, as music helps calm his explosive temper. He secretly loves classical music. He also has a love for plants, and could name any plant just by looking at the leaves, although he would never admit it to anyone.

MICHELANGELO:

The prodigy of the family, the genius youngest sibling. He loves to create new inventions, although they often don't go as planned. A lot of his inventions tend to blow up in his face. Literally. He doesn't let that stop him, though. He's almost always covered in soot or grease. He also enjoys making clothes for his brothers, their entire wardrobes tailored custom by Mikey.

I'm not quite sure how the other characters would play into this. Casey and April would obviously be switched, as well as Bebop and Rocksteady, and Rahzar and Fishface. As for Splinter, I think I would just completely switch Shredder and Splinter? So that the Turtles would be raised by The Shredder (who has Splinters personality) While Splinter would take the Shredders role. Not sure of Karai or the Kraang, though.

Hey guys, guess what? I WROTE MY FIRST SONG!!

I composed this in about 4 or 5 hours (not including breaks and sleeping) and I'm SUPER happy with how it turned out! It has a sort of spooky retro 8 bit video game vibe that I'm TOTALLY here for! It's called 'The Haunt'
