talblack:
Talia nearly flinched when she heard Averyâs voice, and she had to look up to make sure it was actually who she thought it was. She hadnât really spoken to Avery since sheâd accidentally blasted Talia with her powers, despite the fact that Talia was practically living at their house now that she was with Xavier. But she wasnât mad whatsoever at her for that, it was an accident. They both had been through a lot after getting bitten by the basilisk. Sheâd noticed that her friend had been avoiding her, and she really missed her. Any of the anger and frustration she was feeling about Lydiaâs birthday party instantly evaporated. âHey,â She said softly as she set the torn up papers down and swallowed.
She looked at her old friend for a long moment. Sheâd real missed her, and it was aching in her chest. But... Being around Talia had been hard. Being around anyone had been hard but Talia... Talia was different. âHey...â She hesitated before slowly saying, âTalia, Iâm really sorry. Iâm so sorry. I-â Her voice died in her throat. There was no excuse, no explanation.
