AAAA I FINALLY FINISHED IT HEHEHE I ALREADY LOVE THEM SO MUCH, I’M OBSESSED.

I absolutely adore those rare moments when Sanji actually shows that more composed, gentlemanly side of himself as a suitor it just makes him even more AARGHH.. and obviously, it has quite an effect on Redilia herself too.

I love how, for once, Red has finally found someone in her life who doesn’t make her feel like she has to be useful or constantly make herself useful in order to receive something in return.

I love how Sanji makes her feel loved simply for existing, without her having to do anything at all to earn it.

I love them so, so much, and I’m so happy I finally got to draw both of them together at least once.

I really hope I can make plenty more drawings of the two of them soon, or even more focused on Redilia herself and her backstory.

I want to explore her and Sanji so much more I have SO much I want to tell about them. 😭

Finally, I think I might actually be starting to break free from my art block, everyone, because here is my new OC, or maybe even my Sona in a way, themed around One Piece: Her name is Redilia, but shortened to Red.. just like yours truly.

Her life has never been an easy one.

As a child, she grew up in a rather religious and superstitious village in the South Blue, the kind that needed someone to blame for their fears and misfortunes, and that someone was Red.

After running away, she found herself thrown into immediate poverty and loneliness for years, surviving through theft, cruel traffickers, and even a cult that worshipped her as a false goddess, never managing to achieve the one thing she truly longed for: to feel useful and loved without having to offer something in return.

By obtaining her Devil Fruit, she signed both her own condemnation and her rebirth, because now she can stand her ground against those who try to exploit her once again, even if it means being hunted by the World Government itself.

Today, the Straw Hat Pirates have become her home, a place where she can finally belong without having to be useful to anyone, but simply.. exist, and the crew's cook himself is the person who gradually helps her feel more and more like herself, without having to be useful, feared, treated as a witch or a monster, or worshipped as a false goddess.

I hope I'll be able to share more details about her soon, because there's a lot more to tell, starting with her backstory, which is tragic.. and very much so.

I think that, from now on, she'll definitely be the one I'll keep as Sanji's ship instead of Eden.

Sorry, but the vampire just wasn't inspiring me anymore.

Isabel Vega is a woman with sharp, well-timed remarks that always hit exactly where they should.

She’s rebellious, stubborn, and proud, yet beneath her mysterious and independent façade lies a deeply maternal side.

Her life has never been easy.

Since childhood, she was just an ordinary citizen in a vast area of the East Blue, but from a very young age she was forced to endure loss after loss, carrying everything on her shoulders with little left to hold onto.

Between Marine corruption, being treated like an experiment, and many other harsh experiences, she grew into someone not easily approached—someone who had to fight to regain even a fragment of her humanity and freedom.

That is, for everyone except the eccentric clown Buggy.

What began as rivalry and mutual distrust slowly turned into something else: shared goals, shared grudges, and eventually a working alliance.

Isabel didn’t join him for him—she works with him.

And to her, that distinction matters.

She refuses to be used as a tool or reduced to an object, even though that was initially Buggy’s intention.

But she was already tired of being a pawn for other people’s selfish ambitions—and he understood that.

Over time, he began treating her not as a resource or opportunity, but as an actual member of the crew.. something he rarely does with others.

There is still tension between them, but now it hides something deeper—an attraction neither fully acknowledges.

Despite that, on a professional level, they function extremely well together.

And she?

She’s an exceptional navigator even for a ship full of “misfits.”

This is only a very rough glimpse of the initial idea I have for her and her story with Buggy. I’ve been going crazy these past weeks trying to find the right OC for him—constantly changing my mind until I finally had to stop and choose.

In the end, Isabel won.

For now, what matters is that you’ve seen her.

Damn, it’s been so long since I last posted a drawing—sorry for my absence, it’s been a really intense period, but I’m still here!

Happy New Year to everyone very late, I know, but happy new year anyway. :')

I’ll tell you this: I had this drawing sitting unfinished since November, I was painfully slow with it, but I finally made it because I loved working on this piece about the two of them way too much not to show it to you completed.

As much as they constantly bite each other’s tails like two strays, at the same time they understand and get each other more than they’d ever want to admit especially after their horrible experience at Blackwood Pines.

Mike and Gwen have always been like this: very complicated, and very misunderstood.

But within their daily conflicts and competitions, they’re also far closer than they’d ever admit out loud.

So yes, Mike would absolutely be there to haul a completely wasted Gwen over his shoulders and carry her somewhere safe like in this drawing even if every five seconds he couldn’t help but wonder: “why did I sign up for this?” :')

And the punk girl, in such a vulnerable moment, would let herself be carried in a way she’d never allow anyone else except him. Because even if she hates admitting it, she knows very well that he protects others at the cost of his own life, a side of him she witnessed firsthand when they were in danger, and one she started to appreciate without ever saying it out loud.

Gwen and Beth had been best friends with a bond stronger than anything a connection that went beyond simple understanding, love, and acceptance, despite all their flaws.

Especially for Gwen, who had always been harshly judged for her reckless, illegal behavior and her complete disregard for consequences, as if she had entirely lost her way because of the disappointments life had thrown at her.

Beth had been, for her, that one person who saved her from the world who saw her vulnerabilities and her true emotions and the safe haven where, for the first time, she finally felt protected.

Losing Beth that night on Blackwood was more than devastating for Gwen.

The guilt eats her alive every single day, especially for not having followed Beth into the woods to help her search for Hannah.

Every day she repeats to herself that if she hadn’t let herself fall into alcohol yet again, collapsing on the couch with Josh and Chris, maybe she could have done something, maybe she could have been there for Beth the way Beth had always been there for her.

Instead, she failed.

And so, all that anger, that hatred, that bitterness she feels toward herself is something she also directs at Mike, one of the people involved in that cruel prank that drove Hannah into the forest.

But I love Mike and I ship him with Gwen for obvious reasons, so any hate towards him from me will not be appreciated.~♡
