Collin didnât consider himself a fashion designer or even someone who knew a lot about fashion really, but he liked to think that he knew what looked good. Ariella Tevian always wanted to make sure that her son understood how colors and matching workedâ even if most of his outfits now consisted of simple white or black, he still knew how to make things pop when he needed to. His scanned over Averyâs dress and there wasnât a single doubt in his mind that the two of them would be the best looking in the entire restaurant. Avery had found something that would really bring out every part of her and even though Collin had seen her on naked on more than one occasion, he still wanted to know what it would look like coming off of her. While gorgeous might not have sounded like a comment that had much weight, he meant it completely. There wasnât a single person in the world that could actively compare to Avery Thames and he tried to make sure she knew that without making her uncomfortable. âThank you. I hadnât cut my hair since I arrived in the states and figured it was time to try a new style.â Soft lips came into contact with the corner of his mouth and he smirked as she wiped away the smudge of lipstickâ honestly, she could have left it. Collin gave her thumb a quick kiss as she pulled it away, trying his best to keep from being suggestive. It was hard to keep his hormones under control when it came to Averyâ no matter how much he wanted to calm down, there was always a part of him that was more than willing to indulge in the idea of spreading her out on a bed and taking her apart. Tonight was actual dinner though, an actual date that he had been wanting for a while now. If he was being honest, there was a part of him that was disappointed when she initially turned him down. It wasnât because she said no, but more so because he thought that she was exactly the kind of girl that he should be taking on dates and maybe even meeting his parents if they were still around. âOkay,â he said before pressing a soft kiss to the back of her head and heading back towards the door of her room. âIâll be right outside if you need me. Iâm going to check our reservation.â
Avery was wanted by many, that was obvious; ecspecially when one factored in her place of work. It was almost like her job was to entice people. Entice them into dancing, but the act of enticing them nonetheless. The dancers would then get thirsty and thus buy drinks which gave the club revenue. Avery would get paid and that completed the cycle. She knew how to entice people, wether it be a wink or a flip of her skirt or a bite of her lip; she had her own tricks that sheâd use them with the finesse of a well-season poker player. She knew her choices might be looked down upon by someone else, but this was her life to live and she was doing the best she could with what she had. Some could even argue that Avery wasnât even living up to her full potentional. With her abilities, she could do so much more than she was doing now; and she knew that somewhere deep down. She swallowed hard, trying to clear her mind as Collin pressed a kiss to the back of her head. She smiled lightly. Nobody wanted her like Collin wanted her. Atleast, not to her knowledge and, even if she knew, sheâd still want Collin back. He was something special. He was someone to hold onto. âOkay, Iâll be out in half a second,â She responded and watched him leave through the same way that he had entered. She had let her ice cold heart thaw for him.
Once alone again, Avery took the few steps needed to be over by her dress and began to slip off her silk robe to expose her lingerie and her skin that peeked through once more. She let the silk fabric pool onto her bed, slipping off her sylph limbs, and decided to pick up the dress and slipped it over her head; making sure not to dishevel her hair. Avery was never afraid to show skin when it came to apparel. She figured if she had something to put on display she might as well do it. After all, she was used to having eyes on her almost all of the time. She was fine with it as long as one of those pair of eyes belonged to Collin.
After looking at herself in the mirror one final time, she left her apartment and returned to Collinâs side; where he was outside checking on the reservation like he had said. A bubbling nervousness was present and Averyâs chest and it was very unfamiliar to her. She wasnât the type of girl to go on dates. Well, dates but not dinners like Collin had somehow gotten her to agree to go. She bites down at every instinct she has telling her to run and asked, upon seeing her man, âIs everything set reservation-wise?â With a smile smile she reached out and straightened and smoothed out his suit even though it was meticulously perfect. She just wanted a reason to be close to him. âI know I already said it, but you look unbelievably handsome tonight. You clean up very well, Tevian. Who would have known?,â She joked with him, before pushing her hair over her shoulder. ââWhoâs driving?â She asked âOr are we using your driver? Iâm sure the place is still going to be a surprise until we get there, hm?â
