Hey guys. Jon and Martin were both children who learned from a very young age that something was inherently Wrong with them via their primary guardian figures. Jon could tell that his grandmother quietly resented him for needing her to raise him after both of her own children died. Martins mother hated him for reminding her of his father after he left them both.

Jon was eight when he was marked by the web. Martin was eight or nine when his father left.

Jon had to struggle with survivors guilt at such a young age and nobody believed him about what had happened. Martin was left alone to care for his sick mother who didn’t love him, giving up his own education to keep them afloat.

They both had their childhoods taken from them at nearly the same age.

"Oh, that must be nice. You didn't really have a teacher before, did you?" Telemachus asks.

"No, we had a boat stop by, and Hermes gave me a few pointers… But I mainly taught myself," Telegonus confirms with a little nod.

"It must be nice to have a teacher… especially one with so much experience," Telemachus says the last part with a hint of distaste.

"Yes! It is very nice!" Telegonus agrees, having either not picked up on it or is choosing to ignore it. "You should come too! I know you missed out on being trained by your dad, so…"

"Ah… yeah. Yeah, I'll come…" Telemachus nods slowly. If not for Telegonus, most definitely to watch his father.

Some of the bloody Mary shippers seriously need to just start writing stucky fanfiction, You get the really cool mechanical arm and the trauma, AND the anger and aggression that everyone's trying to give Simon.

Like if you want the first interaction to be a guy with a missing arm and long brown hair slamming a blonde dude who gets offended when you curse against the ground and trying to kill him You don't want bloody Mary You want stucky I guarantee it to you.

It's ok, it's just that when Grace first meets Eva she picks up the Earth beanbag from his desk & then when she leaves him the astrophage dots she tosses it back to him & then he carries it through interstellar space to ultimately give it to Rocky. And then at the same time Rocky gives Grace his waving-xenonite-Grace-figurine when they first meet, which Grace keeps with him the entire time, to ultimately send it back to Eva.
