The amount of skill and practice that your art showcases is absolutely crazy! Idk, it's awe inspiring and I'm glad to have the delight of seeing it :)
Being so good (especially at 16, which is crazy to me as well lol) is amazing, absolutely remarkable 👍
If you don't mind me asking, what's your journey with art? What drives you to create? :)
hmmmmmm my journey with art
I guess the first time I really started drawing was when I was at my cousins house when I was like 6 and she had manga laying around so I just copied the panels. Then came gacha. You know what that meant. I just liked doodling I guess?? was always the class artist
Then my school gave out iPads and styluses and gave us adobe fresco which i requested!!! So it was basically trial and error with art. Also jealousy. Lots of it. (Insert andrew neiman whiplash)
I remember this was my first ever digital drawing. ^^ I was really shit and used to trace a lot.
A major driver is also how good I can make my art and if I can keep up with my favourite artists really!! I love when people love my art too…
Also FANDOMS!!!! I think date everything and fight club made me improve a lot!!!
I think art is really a part of my identity really
tysm for asking ❤️❤️❤️
You're such an amazing artist !

Hi! I LOVE YOUR ART !!! >33333 *sends lots of love*
Please ignore me if someone has asked this before or this is not your type of qn to answer but I am really curious what is your general drawing process like? Do you start coloring from a sketch or you do a polished linework first? Do you use multiple layers and utilise different layer properties(like overlay, multiply, all the usuals etc) to manipulate the colors or you just use a single/very few layer and manually creates the effect like in traditional paintings? Also, how large do you usually set your canvas? Your paintings are at such a perfect pixel! I find the mood and astmosphere in your pieces truly gripping and as a digital artist myself I would be really grateful if you could bestow me with the insights of your thought process when creating a piece! (Sorry this kinda turned from one ask into multiple asks)
Sends lots of love again!!>>333
ok so my process is
1. Find references u wanna combine the feel of for mood and stuff
2. This is important listen to music while drawing which matches the vibe of the piece you want. Seems weird but it helps
3. Sketch out a thumbnail with the canvas zoomed all the way out to avoid too much detail
4. Clean sketch into a ‘lineart’
5. Base colour under lineart using lasso and rubber
6. Erase ‘lineart’ where the colour blocking already shows the form and keep where needed
7. On the skin tone base colour clip a multiply layer and airbrush blush and cool tones where needed and I like to make extremities more reddish
8. Colour lineart a more saturated colour
9. Merge all base colours and lineart
10. add shadows by blocking in using a multiply layer clipped to the whole form
11. Carve out shapes using multiply
12. Use select to erase multiply so it fits the form and release the clipping mask so it looks the same
13. Use clipping mask w multiply to the shadows with a warmer colour to add ambient occlusion to the shadows
14. Airbrush the light colour over the form with a clipping mask to add glow using the soft light layer mode
15. Using overlay and a reddish warmer tone add scatter light?? To where the skin or forms transition to shadow and more intense where the forms should be more permeable to light
16. Add bounce light from the background using soft light too so if the character is outside is should reflect the colour of the sky and the grass etc
17. Merge all together and create a new layer on top to render using a textured paint brush while following your reference
18. Add random doohickeys in the bg and play around and make it follow the rule of thirds by adding a lil grid on it
19. Add filters you want
My canvas sizes are usually at 8000px*6500px
also a really great tip is add a white layer w saturation layer mode to check ur values constantly
