Abolish ICE is the moderate position.
Even if ICE retreats from Minnesota, the system has to go.
Even if Kristi Noem is impeached, the system has to go.
Even if ICE is defunded, the system has to go.
Even if the right withdraws, the system has to go.
Even if Trump dies, the system has to go.
Even if a liberal is elected president, the system has to go.
Any institution that lets fascism rise is one that's fundamentally broken.
We have the unique opportunity to change the foundations of the US for the better and we can't waste it.
I donāt know how much the system is broken vs. the Republicans in the system are broken. The Republicans definitely need to go. And the voters can do that. ļæ¼

I think Iron Lung deserves to be Oscar nominated for the makeup and I'm completely serious. Tiny splashes of blood he didn't know to clean off because he doesn't have a mirror slowly turn into burns and then holes in Simon's head and you don't notice at all until it's too late. You think, oh, that must have been a burn all along, I guess, that's why it was still there. The bandages get bloodied, and then bloodier from the inside. Keeping makeup like that consistent at all is already a nightmare and they made it an arching plot point. The only makeup job I didn't care for was at the very, very end, and it's for the usual "building on top of because you can't take away from the surface" reasons, it's completely fine from this size production.
KKK said the same thing about the hoods.
doing things at the right age is literally a made up concept. you can start/pursue anything at any age. btw.

I could only say āoh my godā and āholy shit!ā for like a full hour after I watched this, I was shooketh (in a good way)
theyre gonna lock me into a room with nothing but starkid music and wont let me leave until i spawn headcanons for each character
this may not sound like torture, but unfortunately im gonna spend most of the time listening to the songs, singing, and absolutely losing my mind because holy god that hits the right part of my brain. and i will forget to spawn headcanons.
Can I come too?

All gays will go to hellsite
What if in hellsite but not gay
NO!
The most Mark thing about Iron Lung was the way he voluntarily put himself in an iron box that shook him around violently like rice in a rattle. No wonder he went to the hospital he had me feeling concussed just looking at him.
iāve seen a lot of people talking about the pacing of iron lung, and i kinda think that people are overlooking that the pacing is the point.
movies right now are absolutely terrified of silence. every spare second is crammed with motion and noise and information. thereās always something new to look at, something new to process. look here. now here. donāt blink. donāt breathe. itās constant stimulation. thereās no room left for a moment to land before the next one is already gone.
thereās good sci fi horror out there that do silence and restraint well. i can immediately think of under the skin, annihilation, and ex machina. sometimes the silence is the point. personally i think iron lung works in that lineage.
this isnāt a movie that will let you sit there and passively consume. this is a movie full of visual and audial clues waiting for you to unravel them. this is a movie that wants you to notice your breathing. to feel the silence press in until itās oppressive.
isolation is the movie. itās you alone with your thoughts, with time stretching and warping, with nothing to distract you from the constant dread creeping in. itās not the monsters out there that youāre afraid of. not the constant drip, drip, drip of impending doom. but you, alone, in an endless sea of red.
can you count your breaths in the silence? can you hear your heart beating in your ears? can you live with yourself?
thatās iron lung to me.
fine, you want the butcher? come on
iron lung, eh?
cool movie, I liked it
so anyway yeah iron lung movie was very good
Now if Iron Lung the movie gets a Blu-ray release, I suggest adding in the director's commentary starting with "Hello everybody, my name is Markiplier..." and also Markiplier in the corner.
