I’m slowly rolling to a new blog. New Year, New Goals, might as well start now, yeah? So, I’ll slowly start to follow from that blog. I’ll leave this one up, but yeah, this blog is getting... less fun, more stressful, and I wanna try something different, so, yeah. Imma do that.

Baby Yoda is a crocodile
Before anything, I admit not knowing enough about biology to be 100% sure about things, so please, if there are people who know more, please forgive my bullshittery, if that happens. This is just a thought that couldn’t leave me alone.
Anyway, what strikes me about the Baby Yoda, is the fact that I believe he probably could survive on his own with very little adult supervision.
Like a baby crocodile.Â
I’ve worked with kids from 11 months to 4 years for past seven years and while most of the Green Bean’s abilities and behaviour fits a toddler somewhere closer to 2 than 3, we have all seen just how independent and capable he can be:
He hunts and eats live food on his own
He moves fast to find shelter when in danger
And he has a way to protect himself from young age
And, just like with crocodiles, he has a big, dangerous parent looking after him, if his own abilities aren’t enough.
So, what if Yoda’s species reproduced and raised their younglings like crocodiles?
The young ones are relatively independent from early on and don’t really need their parents for food or to help them move around but they aren’t really alone: there’s always an adult nearby, just keeping one eye on the kids and making sure they don’t accidentally Force choke anything while doing their own things until they are old enough to be taught other things. (I mean, look at Yoda and how he dealt with things in the movies and TV series such as The Clone Wars)
In conclusion, Baby Yoda is a baby crocodile.
