sleep doesn’t come easy to the boy and he’s long been able to accept that. so instead of being tucked in bed and cozy under his blanket, he will be outside, hands tucked in the front pocket of his cozy hoodie that’s way too large for him.
he really enjoys walking, walking without really having a place to go. he finds it oddly calming but the real reason to that, something he won’t admit to himself, is how he hates going to sleep because he’s scared he’ll get nightmares of that night, of his brother.
tonight is like any other night. he’s walking aimlessly around the campus, looking down at his feet deep in thought. but then again, it’s not like any other night because at some point he here’s faint fluttering, and he feels this creeping feeling in his bones that he isn’t alone.
now any other person would’ve just ran, but sungjin obviously isn’t a part of the fraction of smart people who actually live at the end of horror movies. instead of bolting out of there, he looks up and the curious male sees a figure in the shadows, feet floating off the ground — a ghost.
sungjin can only let out a screech, and conjures a ball of psionic energy in his hand and throws it at the paranormal being he saw.
he misses by a hair and he already has another orb ready to go when an angry yell with slivers of an odd accent comes from the figure. he’s taken a back but he doesn’t let his guard down walking closer to where the voice came from ball of energy in hand.
“a-are you not a g-ghost?! going to kill me?! and eat my soul and innards or s-something?!” the boy attempts to yell back trying to sound brave but actually failing.
this is why sungjin is the first person that’s most likely to die in horror movies.
now, jumi has never considered herself to be someone who attacks people for no reason, unlike a certain blonde sick six member. her temper, though volatile and with consequence, has to be triggered. no, she has no particular reason for attacking people in the dead of the night — especially since she’s pretty fucking shitfaced.
so when she’s accused of murder and cannibalism, she lets out a scandalised gasp.
“do i look like a fuckin’ murderous ghost to you?” she gestures at herself, floating above her attacker who looks much younger than she expected. kids these days. “if anything, you’re the murderer here! tryin’ to hit me with that red ball —”
a sudden wave of nausea cuts her off and has her wavering in the air.
she lands on the ground, right next to a bush that she promptly throws up on. the unwanted presence is forgotten in that moment, far too occupied to pay him any attention. wiping her mouth with the back of her hand, she stands back up. “too much cream...” a glance at the redhead. “got any water?”
