I’d like to be my old self again, but I’m still trying to find it.

To practice any art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow. So do it.

great people are those who make others feel that they, too, can become great.

A girl steps out on the balcony of her third-story apartment complex. Jumping would not be enough to kill her. Broken bones, a fractured rib, roommates that were even more concerned than before, maybe a call back home. She knows this. This is not the jump. This is the monkey rattling the bars on the cage. This is the Before; the let’s pack everything into old grocery bags and just leave. This is the begging; the big toe on the cliff, the cursor on the plane ticket, the thumb on the highway. The burning. The sameness. This is the question of what you do next, you can either numb it or feed it.

can we just take a moment to realize that this is the exact mindset of most rape victims. they blame themselves when the only person they should be blaming is the person who raped/abused them mentally, physically, or emotionally.
The past has passed, let it fucking go.

for nepalese hindus, today is kukur puja, the second day of the five day tihar festival, nepal’s version of diwali. literally meaning “worship of dogs,” kukur puja is dedicated to honouring our special relationship with dogs, who are adorned in vermillion and garlands of marigold. photos by (click pic) narendra shrestha, niranjan shrestha, navesh chitrakar, prakash mathema in kathmandu.
Now this is a dog festival
