dig it.
Love.
Someone wouldn't stop yelling so I antagonized some brat action. Still unscathed. #catjerks
dear universe,
as in love with my cats as i am, and as long as i have had them... please please please let me be able to recognize when they are done and ready to go, and not let them languish, and not drag things out far far beyond when it is time.
You know I love the grouchy ones. <3 you Cita. (at VCA San Francisco Veterinary Hospital)

a tisket, a tasket, i'm an introspective basket
holy balls, i received my first palm reading on a whim tonight. the gist: too much negativity in my life, i think too much, focus on yourself and positivity. Okay, I'll give you that, although I could get the same advice from any of my friends without shelling out $20. the less pinpointed things were that i'm good-hearted, strong, etc. I am a terminal skeptic. I can't have much faith in things not based in testable science. that being said, i have been trying lately to explore my spiritual side. I mean really, being a skeptic clearly isn't working 100% for me, why not be open to some other things. SOME, I mean we aren't talking thumping any bibles here. parts of the reading felt as though they were directed at the me of the past more so than me now. i've come to peace with a lot of things. i'm actually quite happy. i wake up to look forward to things, i stay up because i like being present in my life. i can't see that as a bad thing.
the highlights of my life today included a splendiferous (albeit easy) yoga class, delish vietnamese food, hilarious times with my bribri, watching boogie nights at the bar, and now, watching twin peaks with cheap champagne and pineapple. i have a pretty good life.
During Milan Design Week 2013, Italian-based artistic team Carnovsky unveiled their RGB Fabulous Landscapes. The exhibition featured digital fresco’s printed using a technique by Italian company graphicreport in which the painting’s landscapes, figures, architecture and atmosphere change depending on whether natural, red, green, or blue light is applied.

Behold, the gradient nail. And my right hand is messy. (at sweatpants for life)
I visited Japan in November 2011 for the exclusive purpose of urban exploration on Hashima Island. The island, completely abandoned since 1974, sits in the southwest coast of Japan in the East China Sea. Only a few people have been able to access the island for the purposes of urban exploration photography. We were fortunate to be the only people to ever get 8 hours of uninterrupted access to the island.
“Hashima Island, commonly called Gunkanjima or Gunkanshima (軍艦島; meaning Battleship Island), is one among 505 uninhabited islands in the Nagasaki Prefecture about 15 kilometers from Nagasaki itself.
The island was populated from 1887 to 1974 as a coal mining facility. The island’s most notable features are the abandoned concrete buildings and the sea wall surrounding it.” ~wikipedia
