Tim’s promotion part 2

Here’s what they say about his promotion. 

Sergeant II (Sgt. II), colloquially referred to as just "Sergeant", is a supervisory position with specialized and administrative assignments.

Sergeant II can also act as the Assistant Watch Commander during his/her tour of duty (and in rare cases as the Watch Commander), but they can also be assigned to specialized divisions to perform specific duties, including: Officer-in-Charge of a specialized unit (e.g. Area Vice Unit); Assistant Officer in Charge of a specialized section or task force; Adjutant to a Patrol Division Captain or the Area Commander; Area Training Coordinator; 

They will give him a specialized unit or line of command. That would be great to see Tim in a totally new role.

Tim’s promotion

We all saw the Eric’s spoiling Bradford’s promotion.

I just want to write down my opinion on it since I saw a lot of speculations and we are on a break anyway. 

1: We know a promotion would have to happen eventually for Chenford to truly happen. 

2: Tim wouldn't accept a promotion that would put a bigger obstacle to his relationship with Lucy because “it’s worth the risk”. We know he can refuse it if he wants to. 

3:He’s happy with being a Sergeant and wouldn’t take a promotion that would put him in a bad mood. Lucy wouldn’t want that as well. 

Which brings meta one of the theory floating around.

4: He won't take Grey’s job. We all saw how unhappy in 5x09 when he was in Grey’s role. He needs action, he needs to be on the streets. They told us that many times and Lucy knows that too. She won’t let him take a promotion he will be unhappy with only for them to be together. 

5: He won’t became a watch commander in another station. In another Station, they would have to build a complete new set, have new  roles and that would mean we would see way less of him. Logistic would be awful for them.

6: OR on another shift, P2 officier does sometimes works on night shift right?. So even if Tim becomes a Watch commander for the night shift, Lucy would sometimes fall under is command when she does night shifts. That wouldn't resolve their problems. Plus, the only time we would see them together is when they do work on the same shift. 

7: While they are main characters they are not the lead, the show is still about Nolan. Would they transfert Tim, we would see way less of him at work and that doesn't mean we would see more of them in their routine, because they are not the lead. People wouldn't like to see less of him 

So, I think they (perhaps  Grey) will just open a new spot for him that require a new stipe and it will open a new line of command where Lucy won't fall under. 

Ps: Some people are concern about Tru’s comments on Eric’s bird post about his absence. *where are you.. we’re waiting for you” (something like that). Keep in mind that we have no idea what’s going on behind the scene. They are showing us what they want to show us. They love to play with us. We barely had any Melissa and Eric’s BTS since the beginning of the year. Look where we are now.

What kind of bombs can we expect? 

We know Chris will be in this episode, we know they Tim and Lucy will ride together. 

With the teasing from Melissa in the last few weeks, we can kind of hopefully wish for a “spicy-ish” scene for Chenford.

I kind of like that The Rookie will be on earlier on Tuesdays actually. Like 5 is so much better then 7. But also I kind of like having something to look forward to watching on Sundays. But I have nothing to watch on Tuesdays anyways so it’s like a win win win. But like other people said will that factor in to not having any sexy scenes? If it does then the earlier slot would suck. But The Rookie has never really done any sexy scenes so far in its 5 year run so who knows right? Okay I’ll shut up now.

Like you said, it’s been on the 10pm slot and it didn't have much spicy scene (beside the 5x01 kiss, but I don't consider that sexy). I don’t think because you are at 8pm, you are a PG show and you can’t have a sexy scene. There’s so many way to do sexy scene anyway and stay within the PG13 stuff. 

Plus, do shows really care about that now? Are they really that careful for a 3minutes scene? I mean, the things kids watched at 3pm on Netflix now...

Do you think after this standalone book series. That Sjm is going to write a whole new Book series in the world of a court thorns and roses. Sjm said that nesta will have a important role in the future and that her journey has just begin.

Hi,

I dont know if she will do a new book series, but I would totally read a new series about the Valkyries. 

But with Crescent City only starting and the “official” acotar series coming slowly to an end, I dont have my hopes too high. 

What I do want to see is Nesta being present as “the backstory” of the next 2 books. You know how Feyre is always the one alway being present no matter what story Sarah is telling. I would like to see Nesta taking more of Feyre’s place in the next 2 books.  I really feels like we got all of Feyre’s story right now. With Mor wanting to train with the Valkyries, Az and Cass still playing the mentor role for the group, I really hope it’s her plan. I dont see how Feyre’s going to have much place in that group, with the baby and all. 

What would you like to see in the next books for Nesta and her badass friends?

Was I the only one who was super proud when Nesta finally told that big “fuck you” to Elain who was mean to her and attacked her for no reason at solstice?  Like you go girl, stop treating Elain like she’s a pure thing that needs to be protect, she’s not.

Also, Elain’s reaction to the insult, like girl, are you okay? Someone should check your head,  because you’re weird AF.

ACOSF SPOILERS DISCUSSION.

Okay, I officially finished that book yesterday. (by that I mean I already reread tones of moments before finishing the books)

I have a lot of feelings. 

I want to know, what moment in the book made you smile/laugh. 

I had a lot of them, but more specifically here’s my top 3 (ish)

- When Nesta cursed for the first time in front of Cass + his reaction and the discussion that followed.

- Cass with the new night court “moto” aka “That should be written on the Night Court crest.” moment. 

- Az being the new “ribbon” and Gwyn “See you tomorrow, Shadowsinger”.

Please add more!!! I need happy feelings right now!
