It's Wilt once again.

I just drew this because there was a lot of Wilt momentum in the Discord server.

I drew this this morning, and it's only 8 AM.

It's already the third drawing of Pokey Toehair doing something vague. This time he's on a boat, going towards the aforementioned ice cream truck.

"Ooh! An ice cream truck!"

Since it's summer again, both lupins and ice cream trucks are back like the invasive species they are. Fun story: they once set up an ice cream truck inside of my bedroom overnight without me knowing. (This was a made-up story, in case anyone was wondering)

The issue: my actual drawings-in-progress are sitting dormant due to procrastination.

The solution: ignore said issue and instead draw another generic portrait for another FHFIF background character.

The colors and directionality are really pleasing, at least to my eyes. Surrealist landscapes are also a lot of fun to try out since you can ignore any resemblance of realism and work with big shapes.

Mr. Herriman, possibly in the style of a reprint of an "earlier" painting. I won't blame my passion for art history for bringing me here. This is all just typical fan art, right? 😶‍🌫️

Not too remarkable, since it's the fastest drawing I've ever made, but I'm quite pleased with the historical plausibility of it.

I thought my profile was getting outdated, and wanted to revamp it. Too bad my number one character has ~3 profile-picture-worthy appearances in total, so I had to draw an entire scene just to justify a new one. But, here it is, Pokey Toehair 2.0.

On a more serious note, I've been really fascinated by orthodox art ever since I visited Valamo Monastery. Historical art styles in general interest me tremendously, as you can see from many of my pieces.

Of course FHFIF isn't a religious show, and I don't want to portray it as one. I'm just borrowing elements of iconography and reinterpreting my favorite show through them.
