Swansea city centre.
Evening sky, over the west end of campus.
"Support your local mustaches."
"Favourites."
Another cloudless blue sky on campus today. This is one of the buildings near the entrance to singleton park, which I especially like because of the architecture.
I'd been seeing these stands around campus recently selling shirts that said either "Team Smirnoff" or "Team Jager." I didn't know what they were for, but obviously Jager would dominate Smirnoff in a fistfight, so there's really not any competition here, if you ask me.
I did finally find out what it was for (and I was working that night, so I got to take photos of the event), and I made sure to get a nice shot here to show my support of Team Jager. (And I also got a shirt!)
Steel wool photography session with the Photo Society, down at the beach. Swansea city lights in the background.
View of the bay from the top of the hill.
The bar went a little too hard last night.
Wha...what is all this SUNSHINE??! The sun was out for THE WHOLE DAY TODAY.
Well this is unfortunately really blurry, but we the staff of The Waterfront had a social last night, and what was sitting on the windowsill next to us, but a stack of...The Waterfront! So I proposed us all taking a photo with the most recent edition.
Today I went to a talk on the forensic findings of the 2012 discovery of the long-lost remains of King Richard III! I know, I'm SUCH a nerd. It was so cool. Sarah Hainsworth, professor and forensic engineer, actually worked on the project, and was personally involved in discovering, identifying, and studying the skeleton, to learn so many things--how Richard died, whether historical accounts are true... So interesting. So incredible that, being in the UK, I can just GO to these things, instead of reading about it in the States, past-tense. Reminds me why I wanted to come here in the first place.
I really like this sun dial on campus, so today I took a picture of it.
Hail to the King.
Took photos for SU-TV today, on their zombie film shoot. It was really different, being on the other side of things today, watching the filming instead of doing the filming myself!
Lava lamp chandelier at CoCo is so cool! How was tonight the first time I've ever noticed it??
Do you see that perfect godshot there? What a good sky. Good boy.
Also, if you look closely, do you see the castle sitting right there in the middle of the light? Took my breath away.
