–– Ꭶ Emma sat in the bleachers with all of the other Gryffindors as she talked and messed around with her classmates. She wasn’t necessarily friends with any of them, but she was still friendly. Outside of class, she wouldn’t really talk to anyone, but inside, she loved disobeying the rules and so did they.
Her eyes then locked onto a Ravenclaw member, as she watched him take a seat. Surprisingly, the little brain nerd was late to class, but he still probably got great grades and never got in trouble for it. As for her, if she was late to any of her classes, she would get detention on sight. She thought it was so unfair, and it sure as hell was.
When it was time to find a partner, Emma rose from her seat and walked over to the boy who was late. She glanced down to him and asked, “Wanna practice, nerd?”
August looked up slowly, seeing a blond Gryffindor standing in front of him. His friends looked at him, raising their eyebrows. None of them were used to people being rude to August at all, except a group of Slytherins that hated him.
He stood up, looking at her. This would be fun. August always saw Emma alone and felt a little sympathetic, but she was just so aggressive all the time. He might hide stuff from his friends, but he did have friends and most people liked him. He couldn’t imagine not always having people to hang out with. Still, looking at her at that moment, it was hard for him to feel bad for her.
"Okay," he said slowly, standing up tall. "Well, Emma Swan. Five years and I think this is the first time you have ever brought yourself to talk to me." He paused and pulled out his wand. He already knew the jinx and would show Emma just the nerd he was. "Let’s go."
