So you're a chemist and a tinkerer of sorts.... and an 'enemy of the state'. How'd all that happen?

"The long and short of it is- I know things they didn't want me to know, and instead of going along with it like a good little soldier, I left and took the knowledge with me. Used it against them. My father was a scientist and I was his only kid. I was his little prodigy. After learning things then that I still carry with me- I couldn't live the life he and my mother lived. So- My skills were better suited down below. With people that really needed it. Sure, i use it for less than moral pursuits as well, but I'm perfectly transparent with those looking for such services."

Is there any story behind the striped tattoos on your arms?

Devvan chuckled and ran his hands over the marks, "A bit of a story. It's.. like a warning. A brand. Marks me as one of the lowest of the low and an enemy of the state- more or less. The whole get up actually-" he pointed to the dots under his eyes and motioned to his ankles."Makes it pretty much impossible to really hide from anyone. Luckily, most of my friends didn't really care about the whole 'enemy of the state' thing."

Well there's a basement. And I didn't feel like having roomies. Sucks for them I guess. Unless said person wants to just contact me before they hit the store and I can just, disappear for a while. Privacy attained.

THREE THINGS HO MANOKAYDevvan met Joan a while back actually. She was a few years older than him and was incredibly strong willed and wouldn't take any of his shit. It kinda got him goin. He pursued her for a long while, I would be lying if I said he didn't have feelings for her- Even if he wasn't ready to recognize them. Nothing happened between them for ages though. I don't think Devvan was even expecting it when she did finally approach him, it'd been so long since he'd last tried.This was actually where he got that one danglin earring he wears. He hadn't even realized till he'd left that she'd snapped it on him. A short time later that day his job went sour and he was arrested. She didn't know what happened to him, just that he'd disappeared, and now she was pregnant. Hoot n a half that.UHM UHM UHMJaylen actually has the other earring. He turned it into a necklace instead though. Crispy, Jaylen's Scraggy, is a tough little bastard that Jaylen met when they were both much younger. Crispy kept an eye out for the little shit and now they are pretty much inseperable.
