One special evening for one special lil'girl. Our daughter, Ella, donated her hair for the 2nd time to @CWHL. Thank you, Angie, @contempoartistries for doing a fabulous job. For her bravery and good heart ❤,️ I treated her to her absolute favorite place to eat (also where she wants to work when she gets old enough). Low and behold to our surprise after Ella ordered and we pulled up to the window, the lady said "her meal is on us tonight!" Oh how we ❤️💖@cfagreengatectr. For those of you who participated in the Hang on to Hope Drive this holiday season >>many thank you'sA Very Special Case, Ramsey, and Lisa; Ramsey's mommy and founder of Rooting for Ramsey, collectively organized this amazing drive in a short period of time. From Oct 29th through Dec 15th they managed to collect over 700 hope filled ornaments. The response from family, friends, businesses, and churches, schools, clubs, and many more was surprising for the first year. But that's what hope is all about. From the Hang on to Hope Event Page: A BIG THANK YOU from Lisa Barnhart Razza, the kids and Liz McNulty for all who donated to the ornament drive! We are amazed at the amount of ornaments that have come in so far!!

Hanging on with a Hopeful Claus

Is it wrong to ask those you’ve never met for a favor? I know ultimately writing blogs and hosting in-store events is supposed to be an opportunity to help spread the word about my shop and deepen relationships with customers. However it is ‘tis the season to give’ and I would much rather help a friend start a NEW holiday movement to bring Christmas ornaments to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. You can learn more about my dear friend, Lisa, and all the miracles Children’s Hospital continue to perform with Ramsey here. Each year more and more gifts are sent to the hospital for all the blessed children. Last year Ramsey, while visiting his BFF in the hospital suggested hanging an ornament from the IV pole. And so ‘Hang on to Hope’ was born. You can see more details here. Can you help us spread the word?

Interested in participating? We will be collecting ornaments at our store until Dec 15th, which is longer than what the events page reads. We will have a tree in the front of the store where the ornaments will hang until they are delivered to the hospital.
