Remember this bad boy? I know I do. Back when I was still on elementary I consider Encarta as my hero. This software is basically my bestfriend when i have homeworks, take home quizzes and a lot of shitty school stuff. We got our first computer when I was in fifth grade, I think? and we don't have access to the internet back then, and the only thing I would do at my computer was play games over and over again. And Encarta was my time killer this software have everything every child wants, and it is very educational. It has different variety of educational games from spelling, different land marks and etc. so yeah, I guess thats about it

Before we started to shoot our music video, me and my team had an agreement that our aim is not to be the best music video but to make people smile and giggle. And I think we did a pretty good job at that:). So here it is after tiring days of shoot and zombie nights of video editing Comm-3B. Group 1. "We Could Happen-AJ Rafael".

COMPUTER VIRGIN NO MORE!!! HAH!!!

As far as I can remember I think I was in 2nd grade when I first encountered this device that has a TV like screen(Monitor) and a rectagular shaped thingy on its side(CPU) in short a COMPUTER. I still remember the first time I saw a computer I was amazed by the way it looked because at that time you don't get to see things like that everyday, in Filipino "nasisilaw" (Silo). And of course I was like a total idiot while using it because I have no idea how to operate it, well all of us are like total idiot when introduced with a new device right? It's  not like you're already a pro when you use something for the first time.

The first thing I did in a computer was click on some random icons on the screen to see what's going to happen and.. nothing happen but still I was amazed.. hahaha.. And I think the first activity that we did was use paint and you can do whatever you want, but then I have no idea what I was doing so I have my teacher on my side to guide me the whole time, and man that was a lot fun, using something for the first time is like listening to Sam Smith and Tori Kelly at the same time. Heaven. And yeah, I guess that's about it. And after that class it's official I'm a COMPUTER VIRGIN NO MORE.

AM I GETTING NUMB, OR ARE HORROR FILMS THESE DAYS ARE BORING AS HELL?

Don't get me wrong I love horror flicks, I really do. Actually if you ask my friends what are the type of film I like to watch they would instantly say "Scary/Horror film". Sometimes I would ask them to watch scary movies but they're just not into it, they are more of a girly the typical boy meets girl love struck type of films. And if you check out my laptop you will see a lot of horror films that I've download (talk about piracy right?). But what happened?

I have noticed this in 2011, as the year goes by good horror films are so rare. I couldn't even remember the last time I got scared for watching one, when was the last time you got scared?... While watching "The Conjuring"? To be completely honest I do not find it scary at all, well there are some parts, but after I've watched it I was like "Okay! Back to reality!". It didn't even have something that would leave a scar my mind for the rest of my life, something that would give me weeks of sleepless nights. But no, I got a good sleep at that time because it has no impact "FOR ME", I think the only part that was scary is because  it happened in real life (talk about creepy level 999) and that was it. And then there goes "Anabelle" a total disappointment, it was boring as hell! COME ON PEOPLE! It was so cliché.

Im still waiting for something that would surpass the movie "The Exorcist (1973)" remember the possessed girl Regan with the 360 degrees head turn? How about the spider walk on stairs? or the scene where the priest tries to fight the devil and in middle of nowhere she floats? And that green nasty puke that she lets out? Finally that scary wounded face. Man, just thinking about it gave me extreme goosebumps. Classic horror films are just the best. Im not saying that each and every film should have these scenery. NO! Im just saying that what makes a good blockbuster film is "UNIQUENESS". And I still remember I was so young when I first watched this film, I think I was around 8 or 9 years old back then and let me tell you I cried my balls out because it was so f*cking scary! Me and my dad did not even finished it I begged him to stop it so that we can sleep. But it didn't let me sleep, each and every scene I have watched was on my head I couldn't even get it out it was like having a nightmare even when your wide awake. And just a year ago I finally had the guts to re-watch it with my cousins because I cannot do it alone like I used to when im watching horror films, and it was still scary! I still remember each and every scene, every time I see Regan's face it was a torturous feeling, but im so proud of myself when it was finally over because I have faced my fear! And that's what life is all about right? Facing your deepest aand darkest fear.

  Maybe I have watched too many horror films that it doesn't affect me anymore. But im still hoping that time will come there is this one film that will give me nightmares, sleepless nights, scar on my mind and something unexpected. Im getting tired of seeing cliché, boring, and worthless horror films.

Let's talk about "Digital Revolution".

What is it really and how does it affects a person's life, well our lives. To begin with let us define the term "Digital Revolution". The Digital Revolution refers to the advancement of technology from analog electronic and mechanical devices to the digital technology available today. In other words it is the evolution of our technology and in each era it advances, which means it makes our lives much easier with every era.

Remember the days when your teacher asks you to go the library and research something for a homework? How about that time when your favorite artist released a new album and you have to go buy it in a store to listen to it.(Oh man I know I'm getting old). How about those camera fims (OOOHHHH! THAT'S A GOOD ONE!) man, you have to wait long hours to get them developed and put them in a photo album. And a lot more in the good old days. And today with just one device you can do all of that with the power of your fingers. You don't have to go to libraries anymore to look for something, Google knows the answer. No need to buy a lot of CD's to listen to your favorite artist, just download them online. And now taking picture is a lot easier, well not that it was hard before but it's a long process let's just admit that. You can take picture with your smartphones, and if you look ugly as f*ck just delete it because there's plenty of room for yow face brotha. Not like before If you suck at taking pictures you get shitty pictures delete was not invented by that time lol.

To make it short Digital revolution made everything easier. And it made me extra lazy. I mean what else it couldn't do right? I know it couldn't cook for you but COME ON! It's freaking amazing!!!

Soooo….  THE MAKER OF FLAPPY BIRD IS BACK AND HE IS MORE EVIL(er) THIS TIME AROUND.

A few months ago (not too long ago) there is this game called “Flappy Bird”, sounds friendly right?. Like what else could go wrong you just have to tap and make your way between the tubes(whatever you call it). BUT!!!! You are wrong!! This game is pure evil. I tell you! Its pure evil! It broke the internet, it trended on twitter, each and every facebook status and twitter updates is about flappy bird, theres tons of reaction videos on youtube. And me personally I tried playing this game, and let me tell you I wanted to throw my brother’s phone each and every time I play it. To make the introduction short, Yes “Flappy Bird” dominated the internet like storm, a lot of people are getting mad because its freaking hard to score ( I can’t even score 5), the creator of the game received death threats because they were pissed off at him for making the game (ridiculous right?). so Mr. Nguyen Ha Dong the creator took it down and lived in peace.-FIN

Just kidding bro were just getting started. 2 months ago I got my new phone(Yey clap clap for me), so what do you do when you have a new phone download tons of application of course, so as I am scrolling through the play store this cute little icon showed up with the name “Swing Copters” so I tapped it, turns out it was the worst decision that I have ever made my entire life(no, not really just over reacting). To my surprise it has the same graphics as the devil game(flappy bird), turns out the guy who created flappy bird is also the creator of this little nugget.

And then… let the cussing begin I mean let the games begin.  This game is more evil than before, its more challenging, more f*cked up, and a lot more annoying. The game goes like this, just make your way up through the bars with hammers swinging in it. Sound easy right? Yeah that’s what I said with Flappy bird, “SOUNDS EASY” “SOUNDS” “EAASY”. And I couldn’t even score 1 within the first hour of playing it, and one of the proudest moments of my life is when I scored 1 in this freaking game! And im not even joking. Download it. Try it. Play it. Score one. And be proud of yourself because you earned it. I promise you the satisfaction that you will feel when you get a score is like cherry on a top of an ice cream.HAHAHA!!! This game will test your patience in every single way. There comes a time in the middle of a game where you just wanted to throw your phone on the wall(of course I won’t its brand new like duh!.). and let me warn you, if don’t say bad words very often, in this game you will say each and every bad word you can think of. And for me, my highest score is(drum roll please) thirty five(35). Oh yes! 35, say whut!? 35. Ahuh! 35. Oh man, like WTF! Hahahhahaha that’s like a milestone for me. LOL.

Maaaaannn. What a long post eh? Kudos to you if you reached this sentence because If I were you, I won’t. (Hahaha. Kidding). Final thoughts for this application. First, I must say it’s amazing for it’s simplicity, second, I like how you don’t get to choose the level of difficulty it’s like equality in a game(what?. equality in a game is that even possible?.), and lastly, I like how it test your patience and determination and how thirsty you are for something you really want. I would give it 3 and half star out of five for the rating. And remember not to throw your phone while playing it.

Sucks for a first blog post right?.. Well you gotta do what you have to do.
