I honestly think that nonbinary people should be allowed to be mean* about our genders without getting shit for it more often.

*(Read: Assertive of our boundaries and stood firm on the fact that our identities are deserving of respect)

We should be allowed to make a sour face or take a cold tone with someone when they carelessly misgender us for the fifth time in a row despite multiple corrections. We should be allowed to complain about erasure and ask where our needs and experiences come into play when we hear people reinforcing binary normativity in their discussions of gender related issues. We should be allowed to be visibly/audibly angry with other trans people when they try to forcibly categorize us as fem or masc, or imply that our enbyness is a mere phase that will eventually lead to "real/full" (binary to binary) transition.

Nonbinary people should be allowed to take our identities seriously and expect others to do the same for us, regardless of whether or not we will come off as mean for doing so. Because quite frankly, upon seeing how exorsexist the world has become recently, I think we haven't been mean enough.

and not to bring my own clocky bitch ass into this but if cis women weren’t so consistently starved their entire lives you’d see a lot more cis women with the kind of bodies that we currently associate closely with trans women. the amount that the standards of feminine presentation are culturally defined by malnutrition is crazy

Saying this as someone who loves Ivor, I'm curious on what the reasoning was for making him more overtly comedic in episode 5 onwards as opposed to the more composed character he was in the witherstorm arc, while I can imagine the reasonings for why (and I do think this direction made him a better character), I'm curious on what the official mindset was?

Honestly? It just felt like a waste to have a comedic powerhouse like Paul Reubens in our cast and have him stuck being dour and grim all the time.

Honestly low key I'm a little obsessed with the spice lands in crk. Like, not even specifically Burning Spice, but the fact this is an entire living breathing culture that seems to have kept going after burning spice's disappearance. Unlike the other places that seem to have vanished with the beasts the culture of the spice lands is of a place that kept going after the fact. It really seems like out of all the Beast Lands, the spice lands were still just...hanging around after the fact. They have prophesies about his return! We straight up read a prophecy in the chapter that talks about burning spice "returning"

Despite everything, EVERYTHING, the spice lands seems to a still somewhat actually thriving civilization in Beast Yeast that still follows the culture of destruction. Burning Spice created a thriving pillaging culture!!! Where every other civilization he watched fell, the fact the Spice Lands are just...hanging around, building a culture around the missing beast as a god even after he's sealed, is fascinating to me! I want a full anthropology dive on every single spice tribe and what they do and what these cultures are like. Especially since they just straight up??? Knew??? about Golden Cheese for likely centuries before she was even born???
