We were recently asked to design and make 30 of these menus for @willsbarrowford. Plywood boards with a 2mm rebate to give a nice smooth transition to the leather covers. The boards were made by @andymhutchinson, then stained and finished by us. The leather covers are made from anthracite @yarwoodleather, hand cut, edge paint applied, and then stamped with @willsbarrowford logo. The paper menus are held in place by 2 solid brass chicago screws, aged by us. Another project out of the ordinary, and a first for us, recovering a @robertsradio RD-50CFM DAB radio. The top layer of the original vinyl covering had almost completely gone. The leather used was a beautiful cherry coloured skin from @pittards_uk. The last picture shows the old strap and the new hand stitched one, all of the radio was in this condition. Recently had the pleasure of making a new strap for this @omega Geneve Automatic from 1972. Using the original buckle, cleaned and polished. The strap is made from Sedgwicks Leather from @claytongroup hand stitched with black thread, finished off with laser engraved initials.
