We were intentionally quiet here last week to give space to Indigenous voices that needed to be heard. We’re going to start posting our leatherwork again, but we want to remind everyone that conversations and ~actions~ around Indigenous rights are ongoing and vital. There are currently actions at Fairy Creek, Unist’ot’en, & Secwépemc that could use in-person and financial support. In lieu of doing a 1K followers giveaway, we’re donating that $100 to the @dewcvancouver As a standard practice, we happily donate leather off-cuts to local Indigenous centres and makers. If you want a small bag (or many) for your org, please PM us. We encourage our fellow local craftspeople and small business owners to consider ways they can provide ongoing support to Indigenous communities.
