still not sure if I dream about you or if it’s a nightmare

I can’t sleep. I never use my tumblr anymore but I just feel kinda weird in the head rn. No one really reads this and if you do... hey... how do I stop overthinking? I’m doing everything I can to heal from some past experiences, but they still keep me up at night. When I said “tried to fix you, broke myself instead” that was the fucking whole truth.

I still feel broken. Still. There’s a small place in my heart that has been burnt so badly that it’s turned to ash and nothing can bring it back. I wish my heart was like a phoenix. I wish it could rise from the ashes. In fact, I wish this so much that I am going to keep trying to fix myself. One day I will fully heal. I beg the universe for this every morning. I love you all. Good night. Hope is powerful and so are your choices. Don’t let anything toxic get too far that it takes a small part of you.
