Hey, people I owe replies to, can you send me links to your replies? I was a dumbass and didn’t save everything. orz
Awoooo
“AWWWOOOO!!!”
Sings the song of his people.
I think.... I’m officially bad now. I miss Yuu and lot and all my interactions here. Feel free to send me asks or hit me up to plot, I’m gonna be working on my drafts rn. Everyone is long overdue for a response from the old wolf.
Guess whos back! So sorry for such the long wait on replies and stuff. There was a lot of drama going on in the fandom and it was killing my mental health. But things have cleared up! And I wanna play my old man again. So I’ll be getting to replies slowly.
Ooc : Sorry I have been slow! As I mentioned on my other blog, I had a big death in the family and then a big family emergency right after. I’ve been really really stressed out. I will get to replies, promise!
rxclaimxr:
She huffed, “If you wanted to pick berries, you just had to say so you old fart!”
The young Absol definitly that troublemaker voice, the kind only a spoiled kid could muster. But her size, her lightness of paw betrayed such an intimidating sound, or lack thereof in this case. She lightly padded over to him, gliding unnaturally across the ground as she examined him, “10. I do not see many Lycanrocs around here. Especially your type. Even without the scars, you have my respect. 9.”
She was counting now, not nearly as threatening as before, but she still barred her fangs at him, not that he could see that.
“I assumed my actions spoke louder than me just saying it.”
He did not seem bothered by the other’s comment. He has dealt with small ones like her before. He found them so humorous. So young and full of vigor. He continued to pluck berried from the bush and put them into his back. There was not a hint of fear on the old wolf’s face. He looked as relaxed as can be while he moved from one bush to the next. “I am not surprised you have not seen much of my kind. I do not have a pack, I travel alone.”
When she came up close to him, his paw went from the bush to gripping the scruff of her neck and picking her up so she was level with his face, “Small one, you seemed to be looking for attention but a fight is not a good way to get it. You will get hurt. I do not fight those weaker than me. There is no honor to that.”
syllusion:
Even without him having come close to her fake thorns, Sylvia could tell her illusion was wasted on Yuu. Watching him moving around and taking in his surroundings, she came to the conclusion that he struggled with his sight to some degree – maybe he was even blind, but she didn’t want to assume the worst in this case.
With a quiet sigh and a dismissive wave of her claw that served no real purpose, she dispelled her own illusion and got ready to turn around… only to freeze at the sound of her species’ name.
“…fuck.”
She wasn’t sure how to feel about being found out so quickly. Maybe her skills had gotten more rusty than she’d thought, or maybe she was so used to others relying on vision that she truly didn’t know how to deal with people who didn’t.
Another sigh, and then a nod of her head – before she decided to vocally answer his question too, just in case he really couldn’t see. “Yes. A Zoroark.”
The old wolf seemed surprised but not hostile. He was finally able to semi locate where she was to look in that direction. It was clear by the slashes a crossed his face and eyes, he really couldn’t truly see her. Illusions would be pointless on a ‘mon that could not see them.
“Odd. Have not come across many in this area. They usually don’t come this far out. Have you come with young ones?”
He did not sense any young pokemon around the Zoroark, perhaps that wasn’t the reason. Maybe they were seeking shelter?
“In any case, I protect this area. If you are here to cause trouble, I will have to politely ask you to do that someplace else. Many have come to raise their young ones here, I will not allow harm to come of them.”
@rxclaimxr said: A smol Absol chuckles softly to herself as she spies the Lycanroc, "Normally I would have beaten up intruders upon my master's den, but it looks like someone else already beat me to it. You have ten seconds to explain how you got here and leave." She was obviously referencing all of his many scars, and she sounded so sure of her words too.
The old wolf grunted at the Absol’s words. He smelled her coming before she even made it up on him. He just chose to ignore her and carry on what he was doing. His paw was blindly reaching around, plucking berries from a bush and putting them into a bag he had on his side. He didn’t even bother to attempt to turn his blind eyes towards her. She just sounded like a cocky young one. They were always so feisty. He snooted a bit,
“It would not end well to fight an old wolf like me. My scars are from experience, and trophies of victories. I feel no shame from them. I am busy, when I feel done, I will leave.”
popgoesthesneaselreturns:
Sal was still a broken shell of a pokemon, he did feel happy someone was around. Someone willing to listen to him, someone willing to offer a kind word when he needed it most. Sal couldn’t remember if he ever heard someone being truly nice to him. There were so many terrible visions of the past that flashed before his vision. Then the words of Sal’s teacher which hurt him.
“I was hurt by the person I thought loved me who was always there for me. It was a lie though, all of the memories I have I knew they were lies. But, I lied to myself, pretended everything was fine. That I deserved everything that happened to me, because they needed me and I wanted to be needed.”
Sal sank to his knees his expression blank, but tears came from his eyes.
“They kept me trapped…in a house…with only them as company my whole life. I would do as they asked, anytime I failed to meet expectations or if I disobeyed I was punished. They wanted me to be an artist, even though I’m a pokemon. They forced me to wear clothes, dance, learn, do house work. I was like a doll more than I was a living being. And then, after everything they had done. They kicked me out, said I was no longer needed…it was all pointless…”
Sal looked back into the lake once more longingly. Like even after saying this he still desired to end it all. He couldn’t take the pain anymore. The anguish of being hurt so much, and then left behind like he was trash. His life had never been his own, all of it was taken from him. Salvador had nothing but suffering.
“I was going to let the waters take me…I have no other reason to exist…”
The old wolf made a soft ‘Hmm’ sound as he listened to the other tell his story. Was some awfully heavy things from someone so small. His ear twitched a bit. He could not see the Sneasel’s tears but could hear the hurt in his voice. Yuu was never good with comfort but could tell the other needed some. He lifted a paw and plopped it on top the Sneasel’s head, rubbing it back and forth, petting the small pokemon.
“Would not ending it all, let those who hurt you win?”
He kept his paw on the Sneasel’s head as both comfort and also a way to stop the ‘mon from making a dash towards the pond. “I too was abandoned by those who raised me. I failed in battle and was left to parish alone. It was hard. I was left blind and had to relearn simple things again. I blamed myself for quite some time, but as the years pass I realize it was not me who failed but my trainer. They wanted me to die but I went against that and kept living. I find new reasons to live each day, perhaps you should do the same. Consider the things you may miss out on.” He paused, still rubbing the Sneasel’s head,
“Besides, small one, these are shallow waters. You won’t get very far and will look quite silly trying. This is where the young ones play.”
night-gladion-and-their-ghosts:
“I have. I am not use to creatures that look ‘mostly’ the same.” He doesn’t need a repeat of a little mishap with two Delphox.
“Not used to?”
He lifted a paw and scratched his cheek even more puzzled than before. What a strange person this was. They were clearly not human at least, “You really aren’t from here. That sort of thing is quite normal. I look much like others of my species.”
Ooc : I’m still open to more interactions! Give this post a like and I’ll either invade your inbox or dms!
night-gladion-and-their-ghosts:
Yep, not Gladion’s Pokemon. He always wondered how people can tell the difference. “Not lost, I know my way around here…umm…Yuu?”
The poor blind wolf was having a hard time pinning where the odd person was. His empty, faded eyes didn’t seem to be focusing on anything particular, just in the vague direction the voice was coming from.
“Yuu, yes. It was the name I was gifted. Are you quite sure you aren’t lost? You have mistaken me for another.”
night-gladion-and-their-ghosts:
“You’re not Midnight?” Crossing his arms he huffs. “I’ll never understand this world.”
Midnight? This world?
Now the poor wolf was even more puzzled by this odd smelling being.
“Not Midnight, I am Yuu. You seem to be a bit lost.”
Yuu actively chases off trainers from his territory. He cannot trust a human to take care of the pokemon he has grown attached to. He doesn’t want anyone to go through the pain of being abandoned like he was.
He had never hurt a human, they’re usually youngsters looking for their first ‘mons. But it is easy to scare them off with a good barking or slashing the ground near them to get them to run away. Despite his distrust of humans, he doesn’t have the heart to actually hurt one if they aren’t doing anything wrong. If one is hurting someone, however, they’re fair game to his claws.
dimensionhoppinghybrids:
Now she just got more stern. If there was anything that could make her turn assertive, it was the care for a patient.
“You will relax for two weeks good sir. Your body will demand healing and it takes time abd you need to relax sir.”
She sounded right out iffed at his refusal to stay in bed for that amount of time!
As a healer, she needed to advise her patients accordingly and he would do as she suggested, thank you very much.
He was a bit taken a back by her sudden sternness. What a twist for the shy small thing that approached him. He admired her heart but his sense of duty was making him a bit stubborn.
“But my guard duty! Who else will watch over the young ones? What if something happens! There are humans about!”
He fired back. The old wolf grumbled. He never just stayed in bed before. No matter how bad the injury was he was right back on his paws. There was no rest when there were weaker pokemon to defend. “I appreciate your help, small one, but I can’t just abandon everything to just sleep. I’m not a lazy old dog.”
@awoos-at-midnight
“You’re Midnight right? Gladion is looking for you.”
“Gladion?” The old wolf looked puzzled. Why would anyone be looking for him? He was much too battered up to be that person’s wolf.
“I know not anyone by that name. You must be confused.”
