I'm still pissed at him over this, feel like this mostly got forgotten in the Latifi crash but I feel like teams shouldn't be in the position to beg for a SC or not. Like ik the FIA fucked up massively with how they handled the actual SC and the whole thing was very messy with could people unlap or not, but teams shouldn't influence the decision to have one or not. Safety comes first and I trust the FIA to make the correct decision. And if it was needed I'd trust them to put it out instead of not using it cos one TP said they didn't want it.

Also want to add I know that RB asked for the Red Flag in Baku but that was for safety of all of the drivers whereas I feel like with Toto asking for no SC when Gio retired was cos he knew that they'd end up getting overtaken by Max and end up losing the drivers
