Death Metal was the absolute last thing I ever expected to hear in Fire Emblem.

I’m really starting to worry about Akane, in the past she’s always just expressed annoyance at Gridman stopping her kaiju but this episode has her making this absolutely defeated and depressed face. Also the whole falling scene at the end.

Alexis just showing up like a totally normal person is still the best gag too.

I like how they fixed up some of the silly team comps gym leaders and the elite four had in Let’s Go, but then there’s just that awkward moment of “GEN ONE ONLY” and Lance has to lead with a Seadra instead of having Kingdra.
