langxcassie:
Cassie had been moving around the carnival with ease. She had hoped to run into her father or at least someone who could point him out to her. The young Lang had came to a stop in front of the Joker Dunk Tank, finding it one of the more enjoyable attractions. She was watching the boy carefully examine the tank with ball in hand. “You can do it!” She encouraged, Cassie’s aim wasn’t as careful as most. She was a fighter, not an archer or a gunman. She had her own skills and she knew where she lacked.
The ball felt odd in his hand after it had been thrust there from an unsuccessful player. Either the game was rigged or the people of Gotham couldn’t throw a ball if their lives depended on it. Blinking when someone giddily yelled at him, Tim raised his eyebrows slightly at the girl standing to his left.
Reeling his arm back, Tim let the ball fly and hit just a few centimeters off the bulls eye, but it still caused the needed pressure and vibrations, and the worker dressed as Joker went flying into the water and Tim hoped it was freezing cold.
She had been on her way to meet up with her neighbor when she bumped into someone. “You look completely unhappy about being here.” Lois stated as she looked over the boy.
“I could be doing more productive things, but my friends insisted.” His friends and team that he had lost in the crowd.. Gar couldn’t be far...
Bucky looked over at the kid, slightly amused by his sulky demeanor. Was he ever not scowling about something? And if Bucky thought you were unusually morose, then it was a problem. “Yeah, you’re not the only one,” he said. “You look like you’re having a fantastic time.”
“I’m always having a good time.” Tim replies, turning his head to glance at the other. “Though, this kind of stuff really doesn’t appeal to me.” He states, shrugging slightly. He felt out of place and on edge with everyone's masks and face paint.
He hadn't been to a Halloween event in years; make that go out for Halloween in general for years. He hadn't seen the point in it as he had gotten older and dealing with masked individuals on a day to day basis tended to make you think differently about Halloween. Though, Tim had tried to make an effort; a last minute effort with things that were often strewn about his room in the tower, but he was here none the less. Watching the dunk tank closely with his arms crossed, Tim shook his head. "Dunking the Joker in freezing cold water isn't the only thing I want to do to him." He grumbled, shifting from foot to foot.

“They’re getting desperate.” Gwen offers her opinion though the other hadn’t asked for it in the least. “It’s scary.” And it was, because Gwen wasn’t sure what side of the law it put her on here. She’d been in the public records for hours, figuring out stories and acts by the government in this world and it chilled her to the bone. Forcing registration for any and all supers and those that didn’t were considered criminals- it seems no matter what world she was in she was painted a villain. Worry creased her forehead but for many reasons, her identity and freedom while she was here being her main concern now.
"It's going to cause problems; more so than what’s happening now.... People will riot.. If criminals are being blind sided by the law just because they spilled the beans one of their fellow criminals, they’ll be out for blood.” He explained his thoughts, since the other had decided she wanted to take part in his thinking. He liked GCPD, he really did, but Commissioner Gordon was making a mistake. This won’t end well for anyone.
Felicia looked over the boy’s shoulder as she held the coffee to go in one hand. She looked the paper over as she heard him muse. “You aren’t scared of some losers in costumes are you?” Felicia asked, her tone teasing and playful as she looked back to the paper.
"Are you kidding me?" Tim asked, glancing over his shoulder and giving the woman an odd look. “They don’t scare me. The chaos that will reign and even bigger issues that will arise.” He announces, leaning backwards in his chair.
“Villains turning on villains. Do you think they have some sort of bro code that’ll be broken?” She scooted into the seat opposite him, holding a copy of the same newspaper.
"I think that it will cause more problems than solving them.” Ti m mused, glancing at the woman who sat beside him.

“An idea born out of desperation and fear being a ‘recipe for disaster’?” Bucky said dryly, chin propped on his flesh hand. “I can’t imagine that.”
"It's all going to crash an burn; there will be a riot.” Tim announces, setting the paper down.
“I’m always doing the math in my head. Middle of the night, holiday weekend, traffic backed up on the 294… How many lives was I in charge of this time?”
–Tim Drake (Robin #167 – The Promise)

‘ do I look like a pushover to you ?? ’ tallulah said , unnervingly quiet as she slammed her hand on the table. ‘ i said FORTY , yet i see THIRTY on the table. we had a deal. so , you either give me the extra TEN ’ she started , hand falling to her waist as she pulled out her revolver , pointing it directly at the man’s head. BLUFFING , she was. the gun she held was empty , a corpse she had found on the side of the street. ‘ or i blow your fucking brains out. money or life. ’ tallulah didn’t have blood on her hands. she only acted stronger than she was , in fact. ‘ && stop looking at my eyes. look at my hands if you’re so damn fascinated by their color. ’
"Now that's not very nice.” Red Robin announces, swinging down from the rafters, bow staff in hand. The group of men turned to look at him and a few charged, though, Tim took them down quite easily. “Are we not playing nice, children?”
Bruce makes the decision to adopt Tim - Batman #654
Batman: All clear this end, Robin. How are things in Paris?
Robin: Très bien, mon ami!
–Tim Drake (Shadow of the Bat #54 – The Power of the Picts)
"Everything about this reads “recipe for disaster”...” Tim muses, as he reads through the news article talking about GCPD allowing vigilantes to bring in villain's, without being brought in, but no promise of villains being reprimanded if they brought in a member of Waller's ‘task force;
