Okay I try not to talk about Jax and Friends too much because the show is honestly so ass but like I need to talk about just how ASS it is. A lot of these points have already been made but I still feel the need to speak on this as a person of colour...
First off, my main complaint is the shift of protagonists. Jax didn't even seem like he was going to be a protagonist "alongside" Pomni, like not even any foreshadowing or ANYTHING?? Not to mention, Pomni didn't even feel like a proper protag after ep5, she got screen time but LESS than Jax, we also don't get her backstory other than "accountant who likes exploring abandoned buildings", yet Jax's backstory is more in depth. Why would they take this direction? It makes no sense 2 me..
Second off, the show coddles Jax CONSTANTLY just because he's the "haha funny dude" of the cast, which downplays his CONSTANT misogyny, especially towards Gangle. This man has Gangle in a concurrent state of fear in which she is afraid Jax will abuse her if she does not comply. In addition, he sexually harasses her MULTIPLE times during the show's run. People have also noticed that he tends to ONLY harass and abuse the female cast, Kinger is never bothered the way the others are. Considering this is Gooseworx's apparent "self-insert", this is rather concerning considering Goose herself is female.
On that last note, let's talk about Gooseworx. To preface this, I would like to preface that I consider myself trans, as I am an enby. I love my trans brothers, sisters and siblings, and discrimination against these marginalized groups is not welcome here.
Gooseworx is a racist. She constantly made jokes about nazism, she joked about BURN VICTIMS APPARENTLY (yes as of writing this I am looking through her Twitter), and incest. Because all of these things are funny I guess... Not to mention her little self insert is a misogynist, an abuser, a sexual predator and potentially a murderer. Yikes.
In her OWN words, she says ON TWITTER: "Jax loves harming women."
and ALSO "What I'm saying is, I love violence against women! I can't help it!"

I could go on and on about how BAD this show is, including how there are TWO OTHER racist cast members perpetuating the N-word. And before you say "Oh well those were years ago!" THEY HAD A DECADE TO APOLOGIZE.
