Very few men are worthy of receiving the depth of a woman’s love. Remember that.

“When we invest ourselves in deep personal relationships, we take a risk. We could always get hurt. The more we expose ourselves, the greater the potential for pain. No one can hurt us like someone we’ve trusted with our heart. No one.”

On the left, a painting by Palestinian artist Souad Nasr painted more than 35 years ago. Which reminds me of the photo on the right of an Old Palestinian woman holding onto an olive tree that’s being uprooted by Israel somewhere in the early 2000s
There's so much value in being a nerd and/or a knowledge-seeker, in being well read, capable of sustaining difficult conversations, accomplishing professional and personal goals that entail a high level of expertise, etc. We've been programmed since childhood to view the people who's main goal is to achieve intellectual mastery in a specific or multiple subjects as "lame", in reality those are the people who truly make an impact in society and normally are the most successful. Instead of praising intellect and wisdom we praise degeneracy and drama in our society. You have the power to decide if you'd like to develop yourself and your mental capabilities as much as possible and make an impact in your life, or to simply succumb to the way of being of mediocrity that everybody else seems to be stucked in. There's no shame in knowledge and prioritizing it over it damaging group behaviour.
