Childe, Diluc & Zhongli - when you tell them that you’re cold
He’d take your hands into his, clutching them gently as he’d bring them closer to his mouth. He’d start to blow hot air on them, placing warm kisses on your fingertips in-between each breath.
His worried eyes would search for your gaze as he’d put your hands down, still holding them tightly into his. He would run his thumb along the underside of your wrist as he’s scolding you for being careless and for not dressing for the weather, for making him worried over the possibility that you may catch a cold.
You reassured him that it’s not the case, you just felt slightly cold.
Childe would smile, opening up his arms for you “Well, I’m not dressed up well myself so what about a hug to warm us both? Come here!”
He’d pull you into his embrace, resting one of his arms on your waist and the other on the top of your head, ruffling your hair as he’d tell you “This is what you wanted to get from the very beginning, don’t you, you sly fox?” In response to his playful accusation, you buried your head into his chest as your hands wrapped around his upper body, squeezing him closer to you to listen to his soothing heartbeats.
His ruffles would soon turn into gentle, loving strokes. You were basking in his warmth, his every stroke of hand sending a wave of goosebumps down your body. You weren’t cold anymore, you could never be cold when he was with you.
He’d take off his coat, placing it over your shoulders, telling you not to worry about him because you needed it much more than him. You start nuzzling your head into its soft fur, warming up your face taking in Diluc’s scent that still lingered on it.
An inexplicable need to hold you in his arms washed over him, and despite the fact that he’s just given you his coat and that you seemed to be comfortably warm already, he wanted to hold you in his arms. He wanted to be the one who’d make you warm.
He would wrap his hands around your waist, beneath the coat, bringing you closer to him. His hand would start going up and down your back in sluggish, steady strokes. He’s hot, so hot that it makes you feel dizzy, so hot that it makes you forget all about the cold, the only thing you could focus on being how snugly you fit into his arms.
He’d press his lips to your ear, blowing hot air on it as he’d ask you if you feel much better now. If you told him yes, he’ll ask you if you’d like to go to the winery, to continue the cuddle session by the fireplace. He won’t let go immediately after that though, he’ll keep you into his arms just a little bit longer, and he won’t let go until you point out that maybe, just maybe you should leave now.
Before anything else, his first thought would be to brew a cup of warm tea for you. In his opinion, nothing warms somebody up better than tea, but you couldn’t say that you shared his views - his hugs would be even better.
Upon seeing your disappointed face, Zhongli would give you an affectionate smile, asking you to have a little bit of patience.
After he gave you the cup of tea, he’d invite you to sit in his lap. He’d rest his head on your shoulder and he’d wrap his hands around your body, your back sinking into his chest. His thumb would tenderly go up and down the side of your waist in a rhythmic motion, sending ripples of goosebumps down your body as you felt your whole body warming up under his touch.
As you take refuge into his arms, he’d think to himself that he must be so lucky, so lucky to have met you, so lucky to have you there, with him, in that very moment. A strong urge to kiss you would rise into his chest, growing stronger and stronger by each second. He’d start trailing your shoulders in kisses, his soft, warm lips slowly going back and forth from one side to the other.
He’d stop for a moment, pressing his lips against your ear, shyly asking you if you felt warm enough now and if his kisses were of any help.
As soon as you’d reply with a breathless yes, he’d place a kiss at the back of your ear.
“Excellent, I shall continue from where I left off then”.
