How to Apply for Asia Young Designers Awards 2022 in Malaysia?
AYDA stands for Asia Young Designer Awards.
It was launched in 2008, the Asia Young Designers Awards (AYDA) is part of Nippon Paintâs vision to nurture the next generation of Architectural and Interior Design talents.
It serves as a platform to inspire students of these disciplines to develop their skills through cross-learning opportunities and networking with key industry players, as well as their fellow peers in the region.

CONVERGENCE: Pushing the Reset Button
The pandemic has helped people around the world realize the importance of being in touch with ourselves. Now more than ever, having our lives restricted by the virus and its impact have shone focus on personal space and rejuvenation. This yearâs theme challenge âCONVERGE: Pushing the Reset Buttonâ is about merging man-made structures with personal rejuvenation and healing needs. You are required to bring different aspects of life and let it live through your design such that it will benefit its users. Just like how through the pandemic, mother nature thrives in the absence of human destruction, how can good design promote collaborative relationships where people can live in unison with nature.

A folder named âPerspectivesâ with each perspective file in JPEG format, set at 300dpi and named appropriately (e.g. âLiving Roomâ or âLobbyâ).
Your design concept statement should not be more than 800 words and saved in a Microsoft Word file named âDesign Concept Statement.docxâ.
Your recent personal photo in JPEG format set at 300dpi with your name set as the file name (e.g. âParticipant Name.jpegâ).
All completed entries must be submitted by:Â October 7, 2022.
