What really strikes me about Bastion is that, at it’s heart, it is a game about forgiveness. Not just about forgiving other people, but forgiving yourself. Moving on from terrible things, from things you don’t think it’s possible to move on from. I think Evacuation is one of the most beautifully bittersweet yet hopeful endings I’ve seen. Nothing is perfect, nothing is healed, but it’s making the choice to try to heal, to try to forgive, that matters.

This also goes for men not being able to express emotions.

Society: Oh, so you just want men to be a bunch of pansies then, huh? You hate men for wanting to be strong LIKE NATURE INTENDED THEM TO BE. You'll be sorry when you end up married to some weak, simpering fool who likes to talk about his "feelings"!

Society: Also, you can't have equal rights because women aren't aggressive enough to want higher pay and stuff.

A New Jersey teenager who launched a campaign to get Hasbro to make a gender-neutral Easy-Bake Oven is expected to meet with the toy company Monday afternoon. According to The Associated Press, the oven’s team at Hasbro invited 13-year-old McKenna Pope of Garfield, N.J., to share her thoughts and ideas. McKenna wants the company to make the pink and purple oven in more boy-friendly colors and also feature boys in their marketing for the toy. The oven, she says, reinforces gender stereotypes to the point that her younger brother thinks boys shouldn’t cook. “We continue to enforce this stereotype that men don’t cook, they work,” Pope says in a YouTube video created as part of her effort to get Hasbro to change the way it makes and markets the toy oven. Her online petition has garnered 44,000 supporters since it was launched in November and has the backing of top chefs like Bobby Flay.

DETROIT — The founder of Domino’s Pizza is suing the federal government over mandatory contraception coverage in the health care law.

Tom Monaghan, a devout Roman Catholic, says contraception isn’t health care but a “gravely immoral” practice.

He filed a lawsuit Friday in federal court. It also lists as a plaintiff Domino’s Farms, a Michigan office park complex that Monaghan owns.

Monaghan offers health insurance that excludes contraception and abortion for employees. The new federal law requires employers to offer insurance including contraception coverage or risk fines.

I hate Christmas.

Me too.

Especially since I have to process secondhand decorations in a building that is rarely warm. I also hate family gatherings. But, nothing makes me hate Christmas more than not being able to afford the gifts I want to get for people.

There's the guilt behind not being able to afford anything for people, there's being crammed in to rooms with family members I can't stand, and there's also everyone bragging about the things THEY got and then turning around going "omg is THAT ALLL? Does your family even care about you?" and related stupid things when I tell them, yes, that's all. I've already received my present. No, I'm not getting more. Why does it matter?

I think Halloween is the only 'holiday' I'm really fond of, and even then, I'm too old to enjoy it anymore.

I hate Christmas.
