during his fight w/ all for one (that happened before the series), he ended up getting his keel broken or at least severely damaged which is why he can't fly outside of muscle form. idk how it gets repaired temporarily in muscle form but when intact its part of the reason why his punchez r so strong (context: the keel is a bone on the front of the ribcage of most if not all flighted birdz. its purpose is basically for musclez to attach to so the bird can beat its wingz quickly and strongly enough to fly)

this is actually the 1st design i did for this au! ^w^

anywayz lore: even before his quirk developed his fur was a bit thin bcs of his bad skin, but after his quirk develops his fur starts falling off in patchez, it grows back continuously but also keeps falling off. he also tends 2 b missing several whiskerz bcs he has a bad habit of picking at the skin on his whiskerpadz.
