biography:
Ayla’s parents immigrated to the states before she was born, hoping for a fresh start. Being the youngest, and despite her parents marital struggles, Ayla generally remained oblivious to all of it. She was quite spoiled and bratty, somehow managed to fly by through school without getting in trouble. Extremely close with her sister, who was older and knew everything that was going on at home but managed to stay quiet in order to protect her. Ayla was eight when her parents announced their divorce. Unlike her older sister Zehra, who dealt with things in her own way, Ayla withdrew, often disappearing into her own little world, finding ways to avoid the growing tension at home.
When the time came for Ayla to choose which parent to live with, and Zehra chose their father, Ayla did too to follow her. But he was already spiraling, his inability to cope with the divorce driving him deeper into his alcohol addiction. He died when she was only 11, leaving them to go back to live with their mother. This is where Ayla’s issues started, dealing with the trauma of losing her father after still not quite being over the divorce, she really didn’t know what to do with herself. Now in high school, Ayla’s grades were slipping. She honestly did not want to be there at all. It wasn’t even that she was a bad kid, she was just withdrawing.
Heartbroken and desperate for an escape, she convinced her best friends to sneak out with her for a late-night bush walk, hoping that nature might offer them some peace. During their wanderings, they stumbled upon a small, secluded cabin hidden deep in the woods. The idea of staying there for a few days seemed perfect—a chance to forget their troubles.
But the cabin wasn’t the sanctuary they had hoped for. One night, one of the girls uncovered a hidden stash of drugs inside. Alarmed and sensing danger, she urged the group to leave immediately, but instead, curiosity got the better of them. They decided to experiment with the substances, unaware of the danger they were inviting.
The consequences were swift. The owners of the drugs returned, furious and violent, catching Ayla and her friends off guard. Panic set in, and in her desperation to protect herself and her friends, Ayla acted impulsively—she set the cabin on fire. As the flames engulfed the small building, Ayla managed to gather everyone, and they fled into the night, leaving the chaos and the burning cabin behind them, shaken by the ordeal that had unfolded.
Nobody survived the fire and Ayla convinced her friends to take this to the grave.
But then this sent Ayla spiraling. Spending weeks in bed, dropping out of school. Her mom didn’t know what to do with her, neither did Zehra and Ayla wasn’t talking so, eventually she was sent to a psychiatric hospital for help.
Embarrassed and still feeling guilty about her actions. She wasn’t even quite sure she’d dealt with them properly because she couldn’t tell anyone what she had done. She ended up in back in Los Angeles and that was when she decided to put everything behind her. It started with making Instagram reels about mental health, then it turned into TikTok’s about her life and before she knew it she had five hundred thousand followers between platforms. She finally felt somewhat stable.
Shortly after starting her influencing she met Zak, and it was kind of a whirlwind romance. They both fell hard and fast, next thing she knew she was engaged and pregnant. Ayla wouldn't change it for the world though, but LA was getting to her so the pair decided to move to Brooklyn just before their baby Lara was born.
Willa couldn't help but grin at the response, sliding the drink over further. "Please, take it." She said. "A year? I think I have at least five a week."
"Yeah, that's usually my motto too." Ayla said taking her first sip, savoring every minute of it. "I just had my daughter so alcohol has been off the table for a while, I had a glass of champagne on New Years Eve, but other than that this is it." @willa-holmes
Ayla felt like she hadn't had a proper sleep in the last three months so she couldn't help but agree with him. Being a parent was overwhelming, even though she'd expected it. Lara was like her mother, high maintenance and needed every bit of their attention at all times. "That's why I said uber eats, babe," she kissed him back gently, pulling away to look up at him. "She might stir at someone being at the door, but honestly I hope she's exhausted."
Zak tried his best to take over as many duties as he could after the birth of their daughter. The last thing he wanted was for Ayla to be working through the healing process and having to change daipers, getting her to sleep, and cleaning the house too. He really did enjoy having the time to bond with Lara too. "You know, we can just write on the instructions to text when it's been delivered but don't knock because there's a sleeping baby." He hummed softly. "What are we craving?" { @ayladxmir }
Ayla was looking forward to spending the evening with her fiancé now. She hoped Lara would sleep through or at least only wake up once or twice so they could enjoy themselves and have a little date night. "Maybe lets go Chinese? Noodles sound incredible right now." She finally pulled herself back from him, only to hand him his phone so he could order. "And a bottle of wine, yeah?" @zakdemirel
'Chill'? Chill? That was about the last thing Maddie felt she could do - not that she would take it out on this stranger who was, albeit too chill for her liking, kind enough to help her grab her orange. Okay, so she wasn't actually mad at the woman; maybe it was just the rough day getting to her. "Thanks," the blonde muttered. "Yea I'm fine. Just one thing after another, but you don't need to hear about a random stranger's shit,".
"I don't mind," Ayla assured the blonde, shaking her head. Anything that got her out the house right now was needed, and hearing about someone elses problems not a screaming baby? Even better. "Honestly, I'm kind of avoiding going home right now so let me get my good deed out of the way for today and listen to you?" @ficklethcrns

"I cannot eat all this food," Ayla let out a light chuckle as she glanced down at the array of pastries she'd acquired, all for an instagram review. Now she was a parent she'd ended up taking on more reviews and vlog type content, so here she was. "Please, help me. I'll even buy you a coffee to wash it down with."

"I don't know about you, but I think I am going to get the strawberry. I am a sucker for the fruit flavors that have actual frozen chunks of fruit in them. I know they also have a cherry one with chunks of cherry in them too but I think today is going to be strawberry. Do you know what you're going to get?" Madelena asked the person behind her as she held her bag and patiently awaited their response since they were waiting in line anyways.
"Cherry does sound kinda good now you mention it." Ayla's eyes went towards the menu bored. It was a little cold for ice cream but the brunette was also a sucker for punishment and loved ice cream a little too much. "I was going to go for pistachio but now I'm debating on getting a scoop of both." @rxshingpxlse
"Alright, so brutal honesty." Sky said, turning in the dress she'd picked up from the rack, the thrift store was great for finding random pieces, this one was a beautiful turquoise dress, but it did make her look a little frumpy, however that was something that could always be altered. "I feel like a box, but imagine it taken in a bit."
"Color is beautiful on you," Ayla stated, her arms folding as she eyed the dress on the woman. Thrift shops were the last place that Ayla usually showed face in but Sky had dragged her along and she reluctantly agreed. "It needs to be taken in a lot though, why don't you just shop my closet again?" @skystonee
“No wonder why it’s so quiet” Zak said, his arms wrapping easily around his fiance’s frame as he pressed a kiss to the top of her head. He never knew why Ayla chose him, but he would never stop being grateful to her. Now they had a little girl, it was like his life had reached a peak and he hoped it would never stop. “I think I’ve forgotten what it’s like to have a minute to breathe.” He admitted, leaning down to kiss her. “I’d say let me put on some popcorn bt the popping would probably wake her.”

Elliot certainly wasn't the most energetic of people, nor was he a fan of Valentine's Day, so signing up for the run was a little out of the ordinary. When he'd put his name down, though, he had been living a different life and he figured it wouldn't actually hurt for him to work towards something that wasn't to do with his job. And he'd succeeded... sort of. Approaching a table laid out with hundreds of bottles of water, he took a moment to try and catch his breath before reaching out to grab a couple, reaching back to hand one over to the person behind him. "I'm regretting that sprint to the finish line..."
"Yeah, I absolutely have regrets after that," Ayla sighed heavily as she attempted to catch her breath. She didn't run at the best of times, but she was asked to do it for promotion, so somehow she managed. Immediately the brunette took the bottle from the male and opened it up, taking a large gulp. "Thanks for that."
Vera had been sitting at the table at least five minutes now, and that might not have seemed like a long time, but she was starting to wonder if their friend was showing up. When someone approached she looked up from her cup of coffee. “Ah there you are!” she nodded. “Sit sit!”
"Sorry, I know I'm late," Ayla let out a sigh as she sat down opposite the blonde, placing her valentines themed coffee on the table between them. "Lara was fussing. I know I should've brought her, but Zak insists I get out of the house by myself, so here I am."
"Oh my god," Ayla said dramatically, as if she'd been literally dying of thirst. It must have been a sign from the universe to be able to have her first drink after having Lara. "I would love an espresso martini, it's been like, over a year since I've had one."
"She's finally asleep," Ayla's eyes were tired as she returned to Zak, her arms snaking around his waist for a quick hug. Being a mom was a little bit of a struggle to the brunette, even though she loved their daughter very much. Realistically, Ayla knew she was very lucky to have Zak who was extremely active in Lara's life considering a lot of men don't really seem to care, whether they were in a relationship or not. "We can put on a movie and order some uber eats? Save us from cooking and I've got a promo code."

"Oh - figgityfuck," Maddie swore under her breath as she winced at the loud clang! of items falling to the ground, all thanks to her signature clumsiness. And if that wasn't enough, there was a shadow of a person looming over her, witnessing it all. "Sorry! I am sooooo sorry," the blonde dropped hastily to the ground, scavenging for the belongings (including her orange that rolled away). "I wasn't looking where I was going and - shit, is this yours? I didn't break it, did I?".
Ayla raised an eyebrow, arms crossed as she watched the blonde woman scramble to gather her things. "Chill," she responded, crouching down, picking up the orange and her phone that had been knocked out of her hands. She then handed her the orange.. "It's fine, it's got a screen protector on it." She tilted her head to the side, helping the woman pick up the rest of her things. "Are you okay?"
It hadn't exactly been her idea to come to this. But when the staff at the daycare started planning going to these events, she simply couldn't be the only one who didn't attend. Smoothing her skirt as she settled into her chair, June took in the small crowd around her. A few of her students had hugged at her knees and brought much needed smiles to her face when she first arrived. With gentle hands and kind words, she'd shooed them off gently towards their parents and promised a recap on the story of Alice in Wonderland on Monday. As she got comfortable, she felt a tap on her shoulder. She twisted around, eyebrow quirked at the stranger behind her. "Hi! Do you need help with something?" She tried to keep her tone light, eyes darting to the staff who were facilitating this event, hoping they hadn't sent another person her way with their questions about an event she didn't plan.
"I'm sorry, to disturb you," Ayla said, looking at the blonde who'd just got herself comfy. Zak had been telling her she needed to get out of the house without the baby, yet here she was at an event full of children. She liked her own kid, but not really others. "Do you work at the daycare? I'm thinking of enrolling my daughter, Lara." She tells her anxiously, brushing a stray curl out of her face. Ayla was the life of the party at most events, mainly because they usually came along with free things but this was out of her depth. "She's probably a little too young, she's only three months." She let out a heavy sigh, followed by a chuckle. "I'm sorry, I don't know what I'm doing with all of this."
