Today i will be discussing about Assessment of, for and as learning. Lets begin !

Assessment of Learning is usually SUMMATIVE and is mostly done at the end of task, unit of work etc. It is a type of assessment that becomes public and results how well a student is. The teachers role in assessment of learning is to be responsible and report the student learning fairly and accurately.

Assessment for Learning is a FORMATIVE type of assessment, it usually happens during the learning rather than at the end. Students understand what they learn. They will show improvement in their work and studies. In assessment for learning teachers collect the students information in their learning to determine what to do next to help the student. Teachers also use assessment for learning to give motivation to students.

Assessment as Learning, stud aents able to learn about themselves as a learner. Students willreflect on their work through peer and self assessment. It helps students to take responsibility for their learning and future decisions. The role of the teacher in assessment as learning is to guide the students.
